[@Eklispe] Dawkin switched to Pichu, and Mia’s eyes lit up a bit. Pichu got tickled by an eccentric chinchilla, after which Dawkin commanded Nasty Plot to fool out the Encore. Mia, though, had other plans. ‘Pound it! Do as much damage as you can!’ Mia commanded, and Minccino struck Pichu with a Pound! With Pichu’s low health and lowered already low defense, this pound struck for major damage! It wasn’t clear if Pichu could take another one of those! Static failed to activate. ‘Nice! Just so we make sure Ducklett can take it out in one shot later…!’ Dawkin switched back to Tyrunt, who immediately took a Pound… that didn’t do very much. Minccino looked up awkwardly at the sudden rock-dino that had appeared. ‘No sweat! Tickle it!’ Mia commanded, excited. It’d then become a Tickle VS Stomp battle, where Minccino started tickling the rock-dino again and again, and due to lowered Attack from Tickle it was actually taking quite a bit of Stomping to actually do damage to Minccino. Two Stomps and two Tickles later, Minccino had only taken around half health, and each next Stomp was going to be weaker. ‘Grr. You should have been afflicted by Cute Charm by now…’ Mia growled at the oblivious Tyrunt. ‘Regardless! Its defense is down! Start Pounding! You only need to do enough so Ducklett can take out the rock in one blow…!’ Mia commanded, and now Minccino was going to switch to using Pound. Weak against Rock, yes, but he’d been Tickled twice, lowering Attack and Defense. Dawkin’s moves? __________________________ [@hatakekuro] After having departed and kept a healthy distance away from the Parasol Lady, Basil turned west to head through a narrow path towards said shrine. He’d no longer need the umbrella as the road was built to curve just beyond the reach of the rain, as such he could walk on this stretch of road separating the two parts of Silent Forest.

Path to Silent Shrine
This on the inside of Silent Forest. To the left and right are two different parts of the forest, the right side considerably darker due to the rain-clouds overhead. The only real sounds that can be heard is that of the wind blowing through the forest and rustling its many leaves, otherwise it feels very silent and calm. This, with of course, the exception of the varying trainers travelling back or forth between Highhill Town and Silent Shrine. On the way, Basil might run into a small green bulb-Pokémon by the side of the road, or a white cloud-like beings floating by him in the wind as he dashes by. They prefer to live areas with moist, nutrient-rich soil. They’ve been known to be used by humans to find areas suitable for planting plants. The leaves on their heads come right back when plucked off, and while extremely bitter, they’re known to refresh a tired body. Pokédex Entry #546 – Cottonee, the Cotton Puff Pokémon. They’re extremely light and mostly go where the wind guide them. They’re known to feel more at ease in a group, so they stick together with others of its kind and resemble clouds floating about. If attacked, they shoot cotton at their attacker to distract them. Assuming Basil wasn’t overly distracted by the Pokémon along the path, he’d eventually arrive where he wanted to go.

Silent Shrine
While not necessarily at night, it’s a shrine inside the forest. Red pillars and walls adorned with white drapes and lantern statues stand to light up the area during night, and the place is clean and so. The air feels fresh and serene, and few sounds can be heard other than that of wind blowing through the nearby trees. The Silent Shrine does hold up to its name like that. However, also can be noted, there’s basically nothing here. It’s a spot important to locals and traditions say you should be praying at the shrine before your journey. The one thing that does stand out, is that there’s a guy manning a little shop on the side, selling small souvenirs of proof of having been here as well as leaflets telling the tales of this place of tradition. Should he enter, he’ll find the shrine to be basically the same on the inside, a place with white walls held up by red pillars, and an altar to an unknown figure in the furthest in. There, one could pray to whatever it is should one desire. Like these two boys, kneeling so innocently in front of the figure. ‘I hope to be as good a Bug Catcher as I can be!’ ‘Well, I hope to be the best Bug Catcher ever!’ ‘Amateurs.’ … Said another person sitting to the right. ‘What did you say!?’ the two Bug Catchers stared defiantly at the person. The person spun around, grinning wickedly at them. ‘Amateurs!’ the Bug Maniac gleefully repeated. There then was sounds of two kids yelling in panic and then fleeing running all over the place due to this overwhelmingly powerful presence, now left laughing a bit as they ran off. So, that happened. What will Basil do here?
1. Find Pokémon. Feel free to specify searching for a specific kind, if so. 2. Train Pokémon.
