[indent]Raeviir is a titan amongst her own kind. Standing at six feet and eight inches, Raeviir towers over almost all others of her race - and plenty others to boot - and she has the frame to match, usually weighing in at about 280 pounds of rippling muscle and sinew. Her body is marked with the scars and marks of war and survival against the harsh wilderness of the islands on which the Ilythiiri make their home, whilst her face is marked by two scars in particular; a deep scar under her left eye, gouged out by a spider's talon; and a second running from the corner of her mouth down her neck, cut by her vengeful mother during a duel. Most Ilythiiri are marked by their snow-white hair and vermillion-red irises to their eyes. Raeviir, however, does not have such traits. Though she has the anthracite-black skin of her compatriots, Raeviir's hair is black, with highlights of a deep red, whilst her irises are a deep-set emerald green.[/indent]

[indent]After five years of exile, combined with a year of hellish imprisonment, Raeviir has been described as a broken woman by those around her. Though she fights hard to maintain her stoic and tough composure around others, it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so for her, as the pressure on her fragile sanity becomes almost too much to bear on certain days. Raeviir has grown frightened of the very act of sleeping - for when she does so, she almost constantly relives the living hell of her past. She goes days without rest not through great energy, but out of fear for what would happen were she to drift off. Exhausted by her mental battle against all-too-real demons, Raeviir has become even more reclusive from others, and even compared to her previous self. Her temper, even amongst her own kind, is legendary - Raeviir grows irritated very quickly indeed, over very trivial matters others would simply shrug off, but such a thing is impossible for Raeviir. She takes insults very personally, she takes criticism hard, when mocked she retaliates physically, often with a barely-constrained fury. Criticism or insults can drive Raeviir into a feeling of self-loathing; a sense that she simply isn't good enough, or that she's not worth the effort others go to to help her. One of the very few times Raeviir is able to control the torrid storm of emotions within her is when she is around her stepmother, Kyrranwyn, one of the very few people Raeviir loves and cares about, along with her father, Amaleth, her twin brother, Haldor, her sister-in-law, Sabuit, and her beloved partner, Nabisisstra.

In response to the trauma inflicted upon her, Raeviir is a heavy abuser of substances; for example, she is a hard drinker, said to even be able to drink a Dwarf under the table, and is known for her very potent brews of the wine [i]morimatra[/i], a specialty amongst her race. Resigned to a fate of constant battle, - she cares little whether she lives or dies, and if her death is destined, then so be it: she will take as many people with her to whatever afterlife there is.[/indent]
