Amelie is very free spirit, almost annoyingly so, and cannot tolerate not saying hello to everyone she sees. She doesn't always have the best advice but at the least she is a good shoulder to cry on. She has a very high tolerance for other peoples bullshit but it doesn't get far without her calling them out! In fact, she will call herself out too, without hesitation. Notoriously she has a bad habit of sticking her nose where it doesn't belong, especially if it concerns someone she considers a friend- and lets be real, she considers almost everyone she meets a friend!
Appearance:
At five foot five inches, Amelie is taller than all the people in her direct family. Her frame isn't very big though and it is difficult to tell with how she dresses, but she is fairly well built from an insanely active lifestyle and continual outdoor labor. Her hair is always tied back in a bun or something of the sort. In the past year, she started sprouting grey hairs in her hairline. While she could dye it easily, she actually really likes it and has decided to leave it be- something about the whole 'If its growing like that, it is clearly meant to be'.
History:
Amelie was born to the hustle and bustle of a big family. As the youngest she got away with a lot more than her seven siblings but no less was expected of her academically. Her parents were very serious, hard working people; both things they tried to have their children follow. Unfortunately, Amelie turned out to be the outlier of their group. She wasn't lazy but she was easily distracted by the smallest of things and she was awful at turning in any form of homework on time and fully completed. This lead to a relatively secluded childhood. Her parents didn't punish physically, but they used isolation and the removal of toys and other non-necessities. She wasn't allowed to have friends over, she wasn't allowed to go to a friends house, etc. Her days often consisted of going to school and going home to sit in her room all day, with the rare chance she was allowed to a family outing. Around the time she turned fifteen her parents dropped her off at her grandparents house in Vinehurst and never picked her back up. Her grandparents, bless their kindly souls, gave Amelie what she needed: freedom. Her schooling took a backseat while her grandparents indulged her in all sorts of activities the town offered: hiking, boating, fishing, swimming lessons, camping, the bookshop, and the smaller historical sights to be visited by tourists. She promptly dropped out of school after a month of being there and got a part-time job at Plants O' Peaty, a very busy little herbalist shop where the plants are all homegrown- save for the carefully cultivated and cared for imports. Over the next three years she managed to turn her part time job into a full-time job and turned her once quiet and secluded life into a very active and free one. She made friends, she made enough money at a job she loved to support her even deeper love for hiking and camping, and most importantly of all, she found her love for learning. Not enough to return to school to finish, but just enough that she took to studying in her free time. In more recent years, her grandparents moved out of Vinehurst to the nearest big city for better medical care. Amelie has taken up residence in their little home near the Quarry, mostly to assure the lovely little home doesn't get invaded by wildlife or some vagabonds passing through. He isn't very aggressive even when he is angry and he backs off rather quickly if an argument starts and he happens to be in the middle of it. He likes to play around and he likes to see the people around him happy, be they werewolf or otherwise. Despite being friendly and all, Towser really isn't the type to seek out company. He is perfectly fine being off to the side lines or on his own for long periods of time. Can be a bit of an air-head at times if he is tired or if someone has been talking to him a bit too long.
Appearance:
Five foot nine and scruffy. He used to grow his beard out all willy-nilly, but in the past month or so he finally decided to chop most of it off to a more manageable length. Compared to others of the pack, Towser's wolf form is one of the smaller ones. It suits him very well though and allows him a lot more freedom and maneuverability than the larger, bulkier wolves. Due to being mistaken for a very large dog one too many times, Towser does carry a large dog collar that just barely fits around the fluff of his neck.
History:
Towser was found by the Vinehurst pack around the time he was six years old. No one was quite sure where he came from or how old he was, but one of the scouts found him wandering about seemingly lost in the woods. He lacked much verbal skill and couldn't really tell them much of anything. Most assumed he had gotten lost from his mother or pack that was skittering along their pack borders. It was quickly looked into though and the results were not favorable. No one ever came looking for him and no one ever found any evidence of where he even wandered into the woods at. After a short time, Towser was adopted by an infertile couple within the pack. His life went fairly smoothly after they figured out a name for him and got him caught up on typical things like proper speech and how to read. Surprisingly he really liked learning and took to schooling a lot better than most people expected him to. Towser was one of the young wolves allowed to join in on the fight against the vampires. While he didn't do anything like fight a vampire head on or get a real bite in, he did assist in dragging injured people to safety. His adoptive parents both managed to escape the chaos mostly in tact. Later, around the time Towser was old enough to mostly support himself, both of his adopted parents decided to travel. They loved the pack but they both desired to see more of the world. The offer to go with them was extended to Towser, but ultimately he declined. Occasionally he still gets postcards from them, but as the years have grown since they've left, the fewer and fewer he has gotten. Most recently, within the past half-year, Towser has taken to being in town several weekdays more than normal. He has taken a part time job at a mechanics shop on the basis of 'running around in the woods all day is getting a bit boring'.
