It also seemed that his words were having a profound effect on Finn, which he certainly wouldn't mind following up on. Alas, it was his belief that he owed Sorrel a proper date that didn't end in...well he should at least take her to dinner! A bit of wine n' dine was always nice after a long week. He collected all the dishes used to make the food and place them in the sink, giving them a quick rinse of hot water. He glanced over at Finn as he asked to live her for the time being. "Volfango is honored by your offer." He spoke during the pause, the cheerfulness in his expression fading with what came next. A pan slipped out of his hands as Sorrel asked him a question he had been dreading since last night. There was something about being called a werewolf that caused his entire being to lock up, it simply made it too real. For the first time, the usually upbeat and talkative Voflango went stone-faced and silent as his hands absent-minded turned of the faucet. This expression persisted as Sorrel explained her reasoning for the question. Unfair? Yes, it certainly was. Though it was more he ran than HER abandoning him. "Please excuse Volfango as he gets dressed." A faint smile accompanied the somber sound in his voice as he took a selection of the clothes Sorrel had purchased for them and stepped into the same room he had woken up in. Once inside, he pulled the chef haft from his head and untied the apron from around his waist. This new part of him wasn't going to just disappear. Volfango was afraid to accept this new identity and anything that might validate its existence. However, he was only going to get himself or others killed trying to pretend nothing was wrong. Volfango slipped into a pair of dark blue, ripped jeans and a white t-shirt with a faded sunset in the middle. Volfango's well-toned body was certainly not forgotten in this new outfit as he examined himself in the mirror. It was time for him to stop running away and face reality. As he entered back into the living, he had just missed the first part of Finn's sentence as he made his way over to the table and took his seat. His story made him rather grateful that he had been blessed with such an understand and loving family. Volfango wouldn't trade any of his parents or siblings for anything in the world. It was like listening to a whole other kind of world. At least, it made him more comfortable to talk about what brought him here. Volfango could see it materialize in Finn's eyes, the kind of anger that burns an entire lifetime. That kind of brotherly love Volfango could understand very well, as he had no better friend in the world than his own brother. With what happened at the art gallery, it made him concerned for Finn about his brother's fate. "Volfango is pleased to hear so." Once again, he didn't sound like his normal self. Now that Finn had finished he supposed it was his turn to answer, though for once in his life the words were hard to speak. He took a bite of his eggs, a drink of milk, and then sighed after swallowing it all "You asked Volfango where his maker was? Volfango does not know." Was maker the right word? His English was good but there was some concepts that still eluded him "This was forced upon Volfango by Volfango's old lover about three weeks ago." He vaguely remembered something about a princess or something similar "That is why Volfango arrived in Ember Grove." The memory was still fresh in his mind. Last night felt all too similar to that first night he turned, although he at least remembered parts this time. It felt like a heavy weight was taken off his chest, though he still didn't like the feeling talking about it left him with. He was the charming and electric Volfango and not some sad, little puppy! "Volfango has a a place but he won't refuse spending a few nights here." His acting and modeling career had been going rather smoothly before it all happened, so he had a decent bank account to last him for awhile. He didn't want to admit that as he wanted, no needed, her help in understanding this world he had become a part of.
