[h3][i]Lenox Hill Hospital New York City, New York, USA July 7th, 2023 12:23PM EDT (Friday)[/i][/h3] It had been three days since the Terregenesis incident at the park, and Danny's life had changed dramatically. Now he spent his days at the hospital with his sister. He had wanted to stay home with his parents, but the FBI thought it best if they were apart. Made sense, there was no reason to potentially put their mother and father in danger. Still, this whole thing was a miserable experience. They were hiding out from potential blowback from their former employers, but their friend was in a coma. The doctors didn't seem optimistic about his condition either. Even though he was happy to have survived the attack, if Danny was being honest with himself, he was kind of disappointed that he hadn't shown any signs of developing superpowers these past three days. That would have been a fascinating subject of study, and superpowers would have just been cool in general. Danny was returning from the hospital cafeteria with lunch for himself and his sister. He entered the hospital room, and set the food on the table. [color=f49ac2]"I'm back, and I brought lunch."[/color] He looked at David lying unconscious on the bed, and frowned. [color=f49ac2]"Still no progress with him?"[/color] Then he noticed the bullet sized hole in the window, and Danny panicked. [color=f49ac2]"Ohmygosh! What is that?! Were you attacked?! Are you alright?! What happened?![/color] Before Danny could get any answers to his questions, his vision suddenly went blurry, and he got a pounding headache. [color=f49ac2]"Ugh."[/color] He put his glasses on top of his head, and rubbed his eyes. The headache quickly went away, but when he opened his eyes again, his vision was crystal clear. As if he still had glasses on. He put his glasses back on, and his vision was blurry again. He took his glasses off again.[color=f49ac2]"And do you have any explanation for why I suddenly developed perfect vision?"[/color] Eevn though he already had a suspicion what that cause was...
