Whilst other gods wallowed in self-pity or succumbed to the vices of the mortal world, after the fall Nemesis continued as she always had done. Her purpose was to deliver revenge and retribution to both gods & mortals, and she would not let something as trivial as the Colossus stop her.  Thankfully mortals still succumbed to as much hubris and sin as ever, and the goddess found herself drawn to wherever there were punishments to be doled out. She went on to have many jobs over the centuries, not limited to torturer, executioner and even a brief stint as a spy master (the fact that she had to disguise herself as a male to undertake these roles is still something that Nemesis begrudges greatly, and which she still complains about to this day). 

Unfortunately Nemesis also found that mortals were apt to punish innocent people. Unhappy with such an imbalance, the goddess took it upon herself to turn the tables on those who would give out unjust retribution. Whether it be seeking revenge on witch hunters in Europe, pursuing Nazi collaborators after the World Wars, or joining Catherine de' Medici's infamous Flying Squadron. The latter is still one of her fonder memories...as one of nearly eighty ladies-in-waiting, Nemesis was particularly close with Isabelle de Limeuil, the two often working together to seduce the men at Court. And whilst most of the other ladies used their talents to seek information for political leverage, the goddess specialised in weeding out those amongst the nobility who would look to betray (or had already betrayed) the crown. 

However as time moved on, so did the way that mortals viewed punishments, and such practices as torture became less [I]acceptable[/I]. Having no desire to submit herself to the hands of the law, Nemesis eventually begun working as a Bounty Hunter. Unsurprisingly, she excelled in this field, eventually being given the nickname 'The Hound' by her fellow hunters due to how single-mindedly she would chase after criminals. In addition to this work, Nemesis has spent the last decade or so dabbling in work as a tattoo artist. Admittedly, some of her earlier work was...sketchy (pun intended) but she has developed her skill over the last few years, even doing some work on some of the other gods. She's most proud of the work she did on the Frat boys...mainly cause most of them were heavily intoxicated at the time and had a lovely surprise the next morning.
