Jake tried to get his attention so they aren't running late to work. But, both of them saw two people running away from the direction of the restaurant with the looks of terror on their faces. He tried to get their attention, but the sounds of screaming caught them off guard. Without hesitation, Shane started running towards the source with Jake following behind, trying to stop him. More people began to leave the scene while some were horrified with what they witnessed. Jake didn't understand what was going on until he saw the mother's torn face.

It was nearly enough to make him throw up his lunch, but he managed to keep it in. Shane ran over towards the girl that they met earlier after ruining her phone. [color=white]"Hey... are you alright?"[/color]

[color=#FF8C00]"Of course, she isn't alright. She probably saw what happened to the mom."[/color] Jake looked down at his friend and then turned to see the child struggling under the stranger's weight. [color=#FF8C00]"Hey, what the hell are you doing to him?"[/color]

Before he had the chance to confront him, the sound of sirens caught everyone's attention. They watched as two police cars and an ambulance driving past them. Thankfully, another police car and ambulance pulled up to the parking lot. An officer got out of his car and ran over towards the mother. He signaled the paramedics to assist her and then turned towards the child, who was still being held down. Another officer joined him and asked for an explanation. Jake was glad that the situation was calming down, meaning they can finally leave. [color=#FF8C00]"Shane, we really need to go back. We're already running late."[/color]

Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, Jake witnessed the child breaking free by biting the stranger's hand and jumping on the officer. He froze in place as the child began to bite down on his shoulder. The other officer pulled out his gun and aimed it at the child while the mother desperately tried to calm her child down. Immediately, without hesitation, Jake grabbed his friend and tried to flee from the scene before something terrible happened. While he was struggling, the child let the officer fall to the ground while desperately attempting to stop the bleed. The other officer fired nonstop at the child until he ran out of bullets. As for the child, he took a few more steps before dropping to the ground. He was dead.[/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]
