"What is your name?" she asked the skull. She waited for a few moments, before nodding. "I see. Her name is Mina Harker," she informed her brother in a matter of fact tone. Horror fanatics would recognize the name as being a homage to the main female protagonist in Dracula, the woman whose brains and wit were directly responsible for the vampire's defeat. As they reached the catacombs, Megan's face lit up with amazement. Had she not been a medical examiner, an archaeologist specializing in ancient crypts would have been her second choice. One of the people traveling with them reached out and poked a skull, just as Tinker Bell had warned them to not disturb the dead. Megan's eyes widened with fascination as several skeletons sprang to life, as if they were puppets, and unleashed themselves in combat. Some of the party dispatched all but one of the reanimated fighters. Megan thought for a moment about joining the fray as one of the girls let out a high pitched shriek. However, her hands were full with the skull and her torch. It also wasn't her problem, the skeleton trying to fight the boy. He could handle it.
