Edward was a little weary of Rodrick's intense stare as he approached, it was as if Rod was a predator waiting for Ed to make an error so he could strike. Ed had expected something like this of course, Rodrick was an intense guy and they had gotten off on the wrong foot. What Edward didn't expect was the sudden appearance of Helena. He didn't realize she was even in this class, but she suddenly appeared as soon as Edward finished his offer. It was strange certainly, that she was so invested in Edward and Rodrick becoming friends, but Ed never looked a gift horse in the mouth. It appeared it was only with her steely glare that Rodrick deigned to join Ed for ice cream.

[color=00aeef]"Thanks Helena."[/color] Edward said, a grin on his face. [color=00aeef]"You wanna come too? This stuff IS pretty amazing?"[/color] He asked. But he already knew the answer. Who would turn down ice cream? So, once he got her response, Ed would lead them all to the ice cream parlor on the island.
