[b]Synopsis[/b]
[indent][color=gray]House Snowfyre was founded in 302 AC, at the end of the Dawn War. Jon Snowfyre, formerly Snow, had been believed by the world to be the bastard of the late Lord Eddard Stark. His new house name honored his Stark heritage, as well as his (highly desputed) claim to be the second son of Rheagar Targaryen. He requested the lordship of the Gift in reward for his service to the throne, so that he and his new wife, Val, might assist in the rebuilding of the Night's Watch, and the settling of those Free Folk who chose to remain south of the Wall. Since its founding, members of the house have mostly kept to themselves and their territory, committed to these goals.[/color][/indent]

[indent][color=gray]Wolf's Rest, a holdfast situated where the Kingsroad meets the original border of Bran's Gift. Completed in 316, it is about half as large as Winterfell, though with a comparably sized Godswood.[/color][/indent]

[indent][color=gray]The Gift, the territory stretching approximately one hundred and fifty miles south of the Wall, from the Shivering Sea in the east to the Bay of Ice in the west. There are no official minor lordships in the area, though there are a number of communities led by Free Folk clan heads.[/color][/indent]
