Avan sighed, peering into his bedroom mirror, a half-frown on his face. It wasn't that he wasn't pleased with his appearance- He never cared anyway. A loose t-shirt, grey windbreaker, worn, boot-cut jeans and hiking boots made up his outfit, and his hair was, as always, a complete mess. But his frown came from a sense of apprehension, in truth. The trip he planned on joining was supposed to be an immense undertaking, and while e was excited, he wasn't quite sure how he'd manage among a group supposedly made up of a majority of women. While he'd never let on about it, they made him uneasy in groups. It was like women traveled in packs! That in mind, he raised his wand absently, shouting a goodbye over his shoulder- no-doubt going unheard by his family- and vanishing with the loud 'crack' that always accompanied apparation. A bare moment of spinning through nothingness later, and he arrived -in- the three broomsticks, because really, who has time to walk? Unfortunately, his landing wasn't quite as smooth as he'd hoped, ending with him falling from a few feet above the ground and landing flat on his face. A pained groan escaped him, and it took a few moments for him to push himself up from the ground, getting to his feet with a broad grin, as if nothing had happened. He didn't even bother fixing his now out-of-place clothes. "Gooooood afternoon, ladies, gents!" He offered a wide wave to the entire bar at once, more or less, and made his way to the bar. "Just a water for me, Madam Rosmerta?" Once he attained the simple drink, he spun on his heel, leaning back against the bar and letting his gaze flick from person to person, grin still plastered to his face. Seemed he was on time, more or less...
