The Crown Prince of the most powerful Empire wears a mask to hide the scars of war and has launched an election to choose his bride, thinking nobody would love a face like his. MC is a normal commoner with no noble bloodline yet is selected as the commoner candidate against many beautiful noble women. She thinks she stands no chance of winning but is forced to participate. There are cameras everywhere and there is a weekly elimination. No candidate can hide from the Prince. YC is his best friend and a fellow commoner who oversees the election and chose MC to participate or the Knight assigned to protect her. MC relies on YC for support throughout the pageant and she falls for him along the way even though its against the rules. But it turns out YC is actually the prince himself in disguise vetting the girls in person without them knowing who he really is.
(Also willing to switch roles as a Princess looking for her Prince).

My character is a girl who is the runt of the pack, is abused, made to do all the chores and treated like a worthless nobody. All because she has a scar on her neck which is deemed ugly by the rest of her clan. Her brother is in debt to the other pack members and even tries to pimp out his own sister to pay for his debts. She doesn't see a single penny from her waitressing job as it all goes to his debt. MC is so downtrodden she can no longer shapeshift. YC is from the Bloodmoon clan whom attends the meeting with the Bluemoon clan, where MC is kept hidden as she isn't worthy enough to be considered to be chosen by the Bloodmoons, yet she was the one who made such succulent delights of the Bloodmoon's regional delicacies and demand to see the chef. They cannot hide her for long.

Humans could undergo cosmetic surgery to turn themselves into a cross between human and any creature of their choosing, be it bat, wolf, lion etc. They turned into abominations. Their creature's DNA took over and made them revert back to their basic instincts and began to grow out of control like untameable beasts. Splicing was banned then on but it still went on underground. Eventually they rounded up all spliced people and put them behind a giant wall in the centre of the city where they were left to fend for themselves. A new society began to form behind that wall. Generations later and people grew fearful of what lay behind the wall. Anyone who went near it, disappeared never to be seen again or they turned up dead. Everyone stayed away from the wall. But as the years pass...the wall begins to crack and crumble. Holes begin to form where a child could accidentally wander in. And one day, a child does when a human passes by, eager to protect the child, they go to their rescue and then become trapped behind the wall...where an anthro spots them. Will they manage to escape the terrible beasts within or never want to leave? It is our story to build!
