It was reaching near nightfall when they arrived, though fortunately the shops had still been open. There hadn’t been much crowds to sift through, though the three outsiders definitely felt the confused gaze upon them by the farmers and woodcutters they passed to get to the center of Kotana’s marketplace. Ipharia didn’t have much wealth, but she had enough to get some basic necessities and clothes for her three new acquaintances. The town itself had a basic smith, so the selection of items were minute but Ipharia had enough to buy Honami and Hiroko a simple weapon or item of their choice. She doubted they wanted to carry on with what they had gathered from the goblins, after all. Of the options available to them she imagined they would gravitate toward a shortbow or basic weaponry. The town lacked martial prowess so the most they had were what adventurers traded passing through, what older families crafted, or what they found scavenging. Most of the weapons on display were of traditional Eian-make, though to the travelers they would recognize it as distinctly Japanese. Most of the weapons included a yari, chokuto, and a tanto. There were other things available like charms and trinkets, but to pass up a better stock of weapon would be unwise. Once the two were finished deciding what to buy Ipharia would be by the food stands, mulling over what to do with the little money she had left.
