[b]Synopsis[/b]
[indent][color=gray]House Bartheon was born from blood. The Blood of Argillac the Arrogant as it seeped into the grass at Orys Baratheon's feet. The Blood of Argella Durrandon who would become Orys' bride. The blood of Old Valyria that flows through them from House Targaryen, for it is said Orys was a brother to Aegon the conqueror. It was for this bond, and by the skill of Orys Baratheon, that Aegon saw fit to reward him with Storm's End and the Lordship of the Stormlands. It would be much to Aegon's surprise then to learn that centuries later the heirs of Orys would cast down the Targaryen line from the Iron throne he had crafted with Balerions fire, for the storm will betray any and all caught in its' fury. House Baratheon soon learned the cost of such a prize, for they were nearly shattered upon Aegon's blades trying to cling to their Usurpers prize. Lords once more, having narrowly survived the War of the Five Kings and the War of Dawn it would seem wise to merely hold what they have, to not reach too far and spread too thin as they once had. But Royalty is a precious drink and once under its spell, it is near impossible to escape its siren call... and storm clouds once more gather over Shipbreaker bay.[/color][/indent]
