”Well of course,” she said and followed her sister up the stairs. ”I wouldn’t count on that. He’s rather mischievous it seems. Likes to push the giant red button that says don’t push.” Cassiopeia would often want to know what the red button would do but that didn’t mean it always needed to be pushed. They reached the surface again and found themselves in the woods. Cassiopeia shivered a little as she adjusted to the change in temperature again. She noticed the lake in the distance but didn’t know much about it. Rose spoke to her and Cassiopeia smiled. ”Of course. I got your back and you got mine,” she said with a wink. Cassiopeia turned her attention to Megan when she mentioned the lake and a connection to Excalibur. Huh, this world really did hold everything. She wondered how they were all connected. It wasn’t like that was mentioned in Disney. With the door to the catacombs behind them closed, Willow felt a little more secure. That was until another door was opened and they all shuffled through. She sighed a little, following along. She wondered if her heart was ever going to stop pounding outside of her chest. Willow stayed near Sierra, walking up the steps and into the open sky again. Willow looked around, all recognizing trees and a lake but she assumed they were far from Merlin’s tower now. She shifted her bag on her shoulders and looked around at the others as they all came up from underground. Being in the open felt less claustrophobic and hopefully there were less skeletons that could come alive and attack them.
