Other nations that can be found nearby include Almyra, Brigid, Shinko’shi, Albinea, and Morfis.
The United Kingdom of Fódlan was officially established on the eleventh day of the Horsebow Moon in the Imperial Year 1186. Following the Crimson War and its unification, the United Kingdom of Fódlan decided to keep its original calendar system and refer to the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus when establishing how government would be formed going forward. Fódlan’s Founding Day is celebrated every year and is accompanied by large festivals based out of its capital, Garreg Mach. It is named after the continent on which it can be found on Eruni’s map. The United Kingdom of Fódlan has maintained especially close ties with Brigid and Almyra since its establishment. While the nations have had strained relationships in recent years, open borders, immigration and trade has mostly operated as previous. Albinea, Morfis, and Shinko’shi seem to have neutral stances on the United Kingdom of Fódlan. Agreements involving immigration, information, and free trade have been opened with all nearby nations, however, and this has led to Garreg Mach tentatively accepting foreigners since the Great Tree Moon of Imperial Year 1431. Sreng, a desert region that can be found in northern Fódlan, has yet to be fully accepted into the United Kingdom of Fódlan. It has been occupied for over five hundred years and yet its people have continued to fight for their independence. Although having voiced their concerns, their pleas have been repeatedly ignored by the United Kingdom of Fódlan and other nearby nations. Their people in recent years have also petitioned for equal rights and equal protection though this has also gone unnoticed or outright been denied. The same has repeatedly occurred in another yet relatively better off region in a part of eastern Fódlan close to Fódlan's Throat, Kupala. Nobility has mostly been dismantled in recent decades and government has largely fallen to elected officials as a result. Dukes and magistrates have become responsible for villages or regions while the Blaiddyd family have remained as the ruling royalty. Although various reforms have been passed over the centuries to create a more equal Fódlan, the kingdom is still rife with power struggles and an immense divide between wealthy and poor citizens. Some noble families still remain to this day, however, they are on the verge of obscurity and have fallen from power in recent years.

Almyra is a large country that can be found to the east of the United Kingdom of Fódlan. The two nations have borders that touch so closely that it’s possible to enter either by simply passing through a mountain range known as Fódlan’s Throat. What was once a fortress that separated the two, Fódlan’s Locket, was later refurbished following the Crimson War. It has since been transformed into a settlement where travelers and merchants can rest during their journeys. The two nations have remained extremely amicable since their victory against the Church of Seiros in the Imperial Year 1186. Almyra in particular is rich in both history and culture which have slowly leaked into the United Kingdom of Fódlan in recent centuries. What was once a proud nation of warriors has slowly seen a shift towards a more relaxed society with significant cultural growth. Music, art, and literature have been flourishing in Almyra in recent decade. This has led to scholars referring to its ongoing era as a “golden age” of sorts. Vast prairies and pine forests have slowly been encroached upon by small settlements with a shift in architecture appearing as well. Respect for nature still remains, however, and most people of Almyra have remained deeply rooted to their culture. Many have, however, also wanted to share it with the rest of Eruni. Horseback riding and archery still remain popular sports which is a trend that Almyra shares with Brigid. Wyverns, meanwhile, have become more commonplace for households across the country. They have since become "sacred" to people of the nation where they are treated with utmost respect. Within the past hundred years, Almyra has seen a surge in polytheistic beliefs which possibly link back to the religions witnessed in Duscur.

What was once a vassal state under the Adrestian Empire has exponentially expanded in the past few centuries. A small archipelago off the coast of the United Kingdom of Fódlan has since spread to the continent south of it. What was once Dagda was pulled under Brigid rule following an Eight Year Conflict between the two that lasted from Imperial Year 1446 to Imperial Year 1454. The two nations have since been congregated into rule under the same dynasty. The country’s capital can be found along tropical beaches on the islands where Brigid originally considered home. Strength is everything to the people of Brigid. Warm temperatures and vibrant rainforests are commonplace to those that have taken on a warrior culture in recent decades. It was the love of battle that brought together divided people of Brigid and what was once Dagda following their unification. Although animosity exists between descendants of both sides to even this day, the people of Brigid are always encouraged to find solutions through honorable battle. This has worked for the most part though their culture has come under fire by the United Kingdom of Fódlan in the past. It hasn’t caused significant disdain between the two nations, thankfully, and so they maintain amicable bonds to this day. The same is also true for the relationship between Almyra and Brigid. Most of Brigid’s people can found in small settlements that are tucked within lush rainforests or not too far from the country’s coastlines. Boating, fishing, and swimming are all particularly popular among Brigid’s natives with yearly competitions held for each. Hunting and horsebacking riding are also widely loved among the Brigid people who have begun to favor Pegasi in recent years. Their religion, it seems, has continued to remain polytheistic throughout the centuries. Most government officials nowadays are either assigned by the reigning dynasty at the time or win office through competitive battle.

Shinko’shi is a land of natural beauty that can be found north of the United Kingdom of Fódlan with borders that directly touch Sreng. Originally assumed to be a distant and remote portion of Dagda, it officially made its presence known in the Imperial Year 1454. Shinko’shi’s land dips into Fódlan’s sea via a southern peninsula and stretches far north until it is stopped by the imposing Su’hua mountain range. As the youngest nation to make its presence known in Eruni’s political sphere, Shinko’shi generally little little impact on what unfolds around it. This is mostly due to its decision to keep foreigners out until the end of the Eight Year Conflict between Dagda and Brigid. The people of Shinko’shi were originally uninterested in what was happening in the world around them. This, however, has greatly changed in the past two centuries. Their attention has recently turned towards Fódlan forces that occupy Sreng and have voiced concerns towards a possible invasion in recent years. Their uneasiness had led to a treaty with their closest neighboring nation, Albinea, who they appear to maintain positive relations with. In spite of this, however, Shinko’shi has maintained open borders and allowed trade without much of a complaint. It made traveling to the United Kingdom of Fódlan accessible for its people starting in the Imperial Year of 1455. Shinko’shi had its first student enrolled in Garreg Mach Officer's Academy as of the Imperial Year 1492. "Foreign" weaponry such as naginatas, clubs, shurikens, scrolls, and katanas have come out of Shinko'shi in the years since it introduced itself to Eruni. Since its introduction to Eruni, Shinko’shi has become a main exporter of agricultural and fishing goods. This is partially thanks to the country’s culture that puts an emphasis on hard work. It also seems to favor straying away from technological advancements which has unfortunately put the country at odds with Morfis. Interestingly enough, however, Shinko’shi has recently been cited for a discovery that has been taking Eruni by storm: black powder. This is one such discovery that has since led to a slow increase of poorly constructed flintlock weapons and cannons in armed forces across the world.

Albinea is a cold and unforgiving continent that can be found across from Fódlan’s western sea. Thanks to its uniquely consistent climate, it is home to rare fauna and flora. Albinea is inhabited by a select few clans and factions that are brave enough to face its frigid temperatures. For the most part, however, its population is surprisingly small. This might be why there is little to no government which has contributed to making Albinea a rather lawless place. In spite of this, however, it has managed to maintain friendly relationships worldwide and is usually more than happy to keep open borders. It has, in the past, offered shelter to refugees with scholars finding evidence that Church of Seiros worshippers may have fled here following the Crimson War. Most of Albinea’s economy is formed through fishing, hunting, and the occasional mining. All of these are extremely profitable thanks to the rarity of its land’s bounties. Because of this, pioneers from other nations sometimes seek out to start their own enterprises in Albinea only to never be heard from again. Most of its incredibly small population can be found living in port towns on a peninsula at the southwest of the continent. Some tribes and clans can be also found scattered throughout Albinea though they never seem to bother with the rest of Eruni. They, in return, are never bothered by Eruni.

Morfis is a small country that can be found on a medium-sized continent located southeast of Fódlan. It is home to a massive desert and metropolis of magic that share the same respective name. In the past, Morfis was relatively closed off to outsiders who seemed, for the most part, unwilling to journey through its barren wasteland. This has cultivated a long history of mystery between Morfis and other nations of Eruni. Some borders, however, have fallen away in the past few centuries. It officially introduced itself to the world in the Imperial Year 1448. Much like Albinea, Morfis has a small population and seems to lacks a solid central government. Most of its people live inside the infamous oasis-like City of Illusion, also known as Morfis, which is found at the exact geographic center of the continent. Many of its inhabitants seem particularly skilled in the magical arts or have pursued occupations related to archaeology, research, history, and/or the sciences. Little more is known about Morfis natives and its culture save for what has been published by them in the past few centuries. This, however, has begun to change in recent years with more and more of its people deciding to journey across Eruni while leaving their own nation open for exploration.
