While not loudly aggressive, she's been known to give dirty looks and generally give off an uninviting aura. She enjoys pointing out the holes in other people's plans and may be more than a little pessimistic, at times, about other people generally. While rarely directly antagonistic, she can turn cold and taciturn when pressed, but will most often back down or leave rather than have a direct confrontation. She doesn't like discussing how she feels or much about herself and what she's doing. She is quite secretive, even about unimportant things and it isn't uncommon for her to even hide what she's reading from public view and refuse to name any of her hobbies or interests. Underneath that cold exterior, she is quite intelligent, as is usual of the Nara, and hard working. Being easily bored, she finds it difficult to reign in her mind analyzing things, but she also finds it difficult to express herself in words. She hates being embarrassed more than almost anything and may hold grudges, if you happen to make her feel foolish or put her in a situation in which she may end up looking foolish. Usually, this amounts to her being even colder than usual towards the individual and being especially pessimistic about them. She's quite sensitive and thoughtful, when given a chance, and is an excellent gift-giver. [indent][indent][indent][color=#A2ADD0]The accidental child of Inochiharukia Yamanaka and Shikasen Nara, Yue was the subject of quite a bit of controversy before she was even born. Though, neither of her parents had initially intended on marriage, they were made to, much to the chagrin of her mother. Her early childhood was a little stormy, but eventually that storm gave way to a kind of marital family bliss. Her mother bought her the best clothing and plushies and would bring her to her flower garden; and her father would often take her to see the cherry blossoms or to the tops of mountains to look at the night sky. She was loved, despite everything.

However, as she grew older, the expectations placed on her grew as well, at first little by little, but eventually by quite a lot. Her mother seemed to know the entire shinobi academy handbook by heart, had memorized her schedule, and had even made friends with her teacher! It seemed like her entire life was slowly being dominated and eaten away by her mother and nothing she did ever seemed enough. Even when she received straight A's, her mother would take it as a given.

"You've always been smart, like your father, and much cleverer than him, like I am. I expect better than just A's, Moon Blossom", she'd say and Yue would turn red, fume, go into her room, and turn up her music, which was about the only thing that kept her mother away. Eventually her dad would come home and bring with him some sweet thing for her. Her favorite were cherries.

At school, her surly and avoidant attitude won her no friends any more than her angry muttering to herself or the weird bloody drawings that she'd make and quickly hide in a large binder with a lock on it. She kept to herself and, while having almost no full conversations with anyone, she graduated and after initially being placed on Team 6 with an Akimichi and a Haruno, was moved to Team 2, after an unforeseen accident involving one student being kicked into another student.

-Mind Body Switch Technique: The user converts their consciousness to spiritual energy, which they send at a target. Their consciousness moves slowly towards the target and travels in a straight line. If the user misses their target, it will take several minutes for their consciousness to find its way back to their own body. To prevent this from happening, the Mind Body Switch should only be used against targets that are stationary or that are restrained. When their consciousness does successfully make it to the target, the user supplants the target's mind and takes total control of their body.

The Mind Body Switch is ideal for intelligence-gathering, and in fact that's why it was originally created; the target's body can be used to explore locations that the user can't enter and read documents that the user can't access. Users can take advantage of the target's physical abilities, such as a bird's flight to better recon an area. Users can also perform their own jutsu while possessing another, notably their sensory skills. While possessing another's body, users can communicate with their targets. Ordinarily, the Mind Body Switch lasts until the user chooses to release it. Targets with strong wills can force users from their body, something that becomes easier to do if the user is low on chakra.

While a user is possessing a target, their own body is left inert. This isn't necessarily an issue in one-on-one encounters, but when facing multiple opponents this leaves their body vulnerable to attack. Furthermore, any damage the possessed body receives is done to their original body as well. If the Mind Body Switch is used on an ally for whatever reason, the ally's consciousness can be transferred to the user's body so that it won't be defenseless. Yue most often uses this ability on plushies, dolls or animals for the purpose of scouting, occasionally also using them to piggy back into another target.

-Shadow Imitation Technique: The user manipulates their shadow across a surface to merge it with a target or targets' shadow. The user can stretch their shadow however they wish in order to accomplish this goal, but they are limited by their shadow's surface area; if a target can move far enough away from the Shadow Imitation's user, they are theoretically safe from it. But there are ways around this: the user's shadow can freely move within other shadows, extending its range; Yue will often use flash bombs to quickly extend his or his opponents' shadows for an instant.

Once a user merges their shadow with a target's, the target cannot move on their own other than to talk. The only movements they are able to make are those that the user makes: if the user walks forward, the target walks forward; if the user raises their right hand, the target raises their right hand. Nara tend to wear their shuriken holsters in atypical locations so that, when they reach for and throw shuriken, their targets will reach for and throw nothing. Although most often used against opponents, the Shadow Imitation Technique can be used to save allies, freezing them in physically impossible positions so that they won't trigger booby traps or causing them to cling to sheer surfaces with no means of support. Yue will usually try to get in very close before using this technique, where a Mind Body Switched doll or plushie can finish the job while she holds her target in place.

-Sensing Technique: The Sensing Technique allows sensor type shinobi to mould chakra and change it to the sensor type. This enables them to detect and track down targets through their chakra signatures. The range of this technique varies between sensors. At this time, Yue must close her eyes and concentrate to read chakra signatures and her range is relatively short at about a fifty yards.

-Shadow Clone Technique: This jutsu allows the user to create one or more copies of themselves. The user's chakra is evenly divided between themselves and their clones: creating one clone will give it half the user's chakra, creating two clones will give each a third of the user's chakra, and so on. Depending on how much chakra the user has and how many clones they make, this rapid depletion of their reserves can be dangerous. Yue can make up to two, but rarely makes more than one.

Unlike the basic Clone Technique, shadow clones are physically real. They possess the same clothing, damage, and transformations as the user at the time of their creation. Most tools and weaponry are copied when the shadow clones are created, but complicated technology won't be duplicated. Once created, shadow clones can serve a number of purposes. They can be used as decoys, either by keeping opponents preoccupied or, because they can't be told apart, concealing the original's identity. Shadow clones usually disperse once they are struck hard enough, but they have been shown capable of enduring injuries for a time. When a clone's task is completed, it can disperse itself or be dispersed by its user. Once dispersed, the clone's experiences and remaining chakra are transferred back to the user. Yue uses this to her advantage for the purpose of spying, most often, but occasionally for a low-risk use of Mind Body Switch Technique.

She is small and not terribly strong, so knows better than to meet an opponent head on, if she can avoid it. She likes to set traps and looks for ways to be above her opponent as often as possible, as it gives her an advantage with her shadows.[/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]
