I'm very interested in the setting and idea, but I'm worried about not being able to make a character developed enough for it. If any of questions don't make sense or come across as insensitive, I apologize beforehand. I do wanna give this a really good try!

In what manner of "packaging" were the Ethereals sealed? Petrified statues, or stuck in the sky, or were they just removed from sight and sound? I'm unclear on how the curse has affected us or the previous generations.

Are Ethereals locked into being forces of nature (eg. Changing the seasons, the sun, the sky)? How do their abilities work?

Our OC Ethereals are intended to be born and raised after the curse and to have grown up under its effects. So it's likely we've only had other Ethereals to share companionship, with no contact with human beings being the norm, right?
