Boarding Axe: A modified two handed axe with a long sweeping blade on one side, and a 4 inch long spike on the other side. Its edges are equipped with vibro-tech, allowing it to more easily split modern engineered materials, like those used in bog-standard Ascendancy armor.

Armor Plates: A specialized suit of armor which interfaces with his augments, which grants him an increased durability, as well as make him look more intimidating.

[b]Short Bio:[/b] 	Gabriel comes from a small family, joining the military at 18 to help support them. He had a knack for boarding actions, being viscous with an axe, and wily enough to get close enough to use it despite the abundance of ranged weapons. This style of combat however took its toll on Gabriel's body, limbs being torn and singed by energy fire, bones cracked and crushed by melee blows. Each time he was hauled off to the medical bay, more and more of himself was being replaced with cheap cybernetics, what the military of the Ascension could throw to some grunt who they didn't care about. Overtime, Gabriel began to tinker with his own augments, over-clocking and enhancing them to become a terror on the battlefield, the sanctity of the human form defiled for more and more power. During the war, his younger brother Leon vanished without a trace, and when Gabriel learned of his, and bought into the lies that the children may of been abducted by the enemy he started to push his own money into augmenting himself further, going through backwater and black market channels to get what he craved, a method for revenge. Before he was through, he had made himself exceptionally durable, able to interface even with some alien tech, and strong enough to rip an armored soldier in two with a swing of his boarding axe...but even this was not enough. While he was nigh indestructible, his allies were not.

	Time and time again he watched friends die, and more and more Gabriel pushed the limits of humanity to protect that which he had left.  Eventually, his augments got him kicked from the military, his defiling of the human form to much for his superiors to bear. He was left with nothing, and no one, until he was offered a job on a ship. Natasha had like him been discarded, and that was enough for the cyborg to find a kinship with her. The fact he was an exceptional meat shield who could also help her with techy things didn't hurt that either. His skill with the axe even rivaled her swordsmanship, making him a prime candidate for a sparring buddy. Despite his friendliness towards Natasha, deep inside Gabriel doubted their cause, and doubted them fighting the ascendancy. Piracy got you rich quick, but normally lead to you dying, that he was fine with...but rebels and child super soldiers? This was weird, even for him as a horrific cyborg abomination.

	After learning the truth of what happened to his little brother however, no doubt this light shed to him by one of the child soldiers now with him, his convictions turned to murderous rage, and his doubts broke down before his wrath. He got back in touch with his folks, letting them know he would return home with his little brother at some point, a foolish thing to be sure, leaving a trail back to where he had been, but he had to let them know. His plan, if mostly secret to the crew, was to find his brother Leon, *save* him from his adoptive alien family, and bring him home, the political and diplomatic damage be damned. This is a secret he keeps to himself, plotting and planning as he assists Moon-Strike and Natasha while waiting for the time to find Leon. When that time comes, hell will be raised, friendships may be shattered, and lives torn apart...but he will save his brother, one body at a time.
