[h2]How to Apply:[/h2]

[sup][b]See in the hider my Character Sheet[/b]. Feel free to make this your own, as long as the things I've listed are included in your character application, you're golden. 

[b]Applications are not first come first served.[/b] I will be setting a timeframe for interested players to make their character sheet, and at the end of it I'll review and pick the players based on strength of application. If you're joining us and you see a lot of applications, do not be put off! 

I try to make my sheets as simple as possible, and I'm not asking for essays. I like to come away from a sheet believing that you [i]understand[/i] your character and what makes them tick, what they want, where they came from, and where they're heading. What I want to see are characters with rich history and personality, so I tend to extend a hand of trust to you, the writer, to create that. I don't want to see overpowered Billy and Barbara Badasses, and a general rule of thumb that I hold my players to is if you want an ability or a skill - back it up in your history section. Make me believe it.

[b]Show Consideration:[/b] This will be a small group roleplay. I'm talking 5-6, possibly 7. If you are someone who is likely to get tangled in outside commitments, if you have a limited schedule, [u]please[/u] take that into consideration when you apply for this roleplay. I completely understand that [i]shit happens[/i] to us all from time to time, but I [u][b]will[/b][/u] remove players for inactivity.

[b]So Who Am I?[/b]
This roleplay will be centred around characters who are freelancers. So, if you're planning on applying for a character who is an N7/Spectre/Blood Pack etc etc then you're going to be shit out of luck. You must be a character who has the capacity to take on a freelance contract for an *extended* period of time. That's not to say your character [i]couldn't[/i] have once been in a gang, or military - they just can't be anymore.

I'm also extremely interested in seeing applications from [b]Utility Style[/b] characters. Chefs, Cleaners, Mechanics, Doctors. If playing a combat character is not your bag, you're still 100% welcome here.[/sup]

[list][*]No Godmodding or Powerplaying. This is a story, not a competition. Keep your characters balanced. I don't want to enforce strict rules that stifle your creativity in creating a character, I will always be reasonable and work with you to create a compelling character with the skills that you want but you have to be prepared to tone things down if necessary.
[*]This is advanced level, so I'm looking for people who can commit not only to advanced standards, but to the roleplay long term. Posting expectations are a post every 2 weeks. If we can have a faster pace then great, but I want all selected players to be on board together.
[*]Be considerate, communicate. If you can't post for whatever reason, just let me know. If you're working on collabs with other players, let them know too. 
[*]Be kind. I really, really, really don't want dick behaviour in the OOC, it doesn't foster the kind of atmosphere I like to create. So be nice to each other, respectful, and helpful. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I will remove people who start ruining the groove.

[list][*]Due to the setting of this game, please be aware that your characters will be exposed to perilous situations from time-to-time. They can get hurt, they can get very hurt. Please be mindful when engaging in combat of your skills and setbacks, and who is around to help you should you get very hurt.
[*]Please no prior relationships with canonical characters from any of Mass Effect games. If you wish to write up prior relationships with other player characters within the game, then by all means please do so as it can be fun. But it's also just as fun to be ~total strangers~...[/list]
