A familiar person, one whom Elizabeth had scorned not a minute ago. "Oh, I guess she found her way out, Hey Runa!" She said, before noticing that while Runa has returned, she was not herself at the moment. This, she surmised, was not good, a hypothesis which was confirmed by the assault on Lance. This was of course, not good, and as Klara hopped on explaining her powers, Elizabeth mentally made a note. Had she not said that, Elizabeth may have let some snarky hero-esque line escape her lips, which would have ended poorly for all of them. However, she did get another idea from Klara's exposition, one that was terrible in all the possible senses. She had one advantage over the rest of them, she had a robot arm. So if she went to grab the staff, it shouldn't hurt her, since she wouldn't be touching it. That sounded logical enough to her, and as such, she rushed the girl, and ripped it out of her hands. Shortly after, she realized that this was what some may call a mistake. A stabbing pain shot through her body, and she let out a cry. Thinking on her feet, she tried to transmute the staff, but found her powers unable to do so. This was of course, not good, so she settled for the more obvious solution; chucking the damn thing. Giving it a hurl away from both of them, she put about five feet of distance between Runa and her staff, and interposed herself between them. "Hey, if it makes you feel better," She started to say, the aftershock of the pain reverberating through her body, "I am sorry if I wasn't the nicest to you in the jungle. Turns out, you coming and choking my friends really makes me see you in a different light, you know?" She snarked, hoping the others would be able to keep the staff away from her.
