A skill that lets you gain stats by eating monsters? While it's not unheard of, this will be a first for Ren to actually encounter a human who posses it. 

"[i]The voice[/i] mentioned about a goddess blessing," Ren suddenly remembered, "I think it has something to do with our skills." 

He began to go through his own stats, and confirmed it, "[i]Kairelith's Blessing[/i]. I have one currently, and the way how the battle played out earlier, I'm pretty sure everyone of us who just got transported here has one too."

The way things look, Ren guessed these skills are unique only to them. That would make sense. If by any chance the Knights posses even one skill similar to them, the fight with the Kobolds would've been a little different. 

"A skill that lets you gain stats by eating huh? That almost sounded like a cheat skill. Normally, experience is gained through fighting or doing a certain task. Once you gained enough experience, you level up, this in turn give you stats. Your skill basically bypass that mechanics. You can just let a whole fight happen without you lifting a finger and then feast on the aftermath, gaining the same stats as everyone else, or even more." Ren said, getting into his geek mode. "I would love to know more about that skill, if you let me."

Ren noticed the other kids walking towards them — the other asian girl along with the little boy and the ice guy. Ren can't help but wonder what kind of skills they have. "I guess better ask them myself." Ren thought.
