Dreams Nothing currently Fears Being without technology Complete and total Darkness Magical and Mystical voodoo stuff ---------------------------------------------------------- Characters Abilities and Powers Robert is able to bond with any technology he is able to touch, combining it into his body and giving him full use of it. His body does change shape to accommodate this new “upgrade”. Such as adapting his hand to be a gun, or changing his frontal body into becoming a screen and keyboard. Robert can even upgrade these machines as he sees fit, though this is more for cosmetic reasons. Robert does have some light regenerative qualities. However, Robert does need to have a solid understanding of the machine before he can make those modifications, else something might backfire. He is also sorta limited to the amount of machines he can have “upgrading” him at a time as, if too many are in there, he starts being greatly weighed down, and circuits will cross causing other major issues. His body also becomes metallic while bonded with a machine, and can have issues with magnets and electricity. He is also susceptible to any viruses embedded into the machines, though these typically result in actual illnesses for him. He also does gain the qualities of what he absorbs. Simple Terms: Technology Absorption - Robert is able to absorb any technology he comes in contact with into him, upgrading his body with it. His body does become metallic with this. He also gains the qualities of what he absorbs. Technology Upgrade - Robert is able to change a piece of technology to fit his needs and desires. However he has to have a solid understanding to change it beyond cosmetic purposes. Small Regeneration - Robert is able to regenerate more quickly than an average folk. However, it will still take time for him to grow missing limbs. ---------------------------------------------------------- History Growing up in the urban outskirts of Queens, Robert Kachimada grew up in a small apartment with his mother. His mother often worked hard and long jobs, but tried her best to provide Robert with about anything he would need. They weren’t well off, but her job as a sanitation engineer helped her come across some rather odd and peculiar items and books, especially around the different campuses. It was surprising what all people would toss out. However, there still came the need for entertainment, so Robert’s mom, named Emilia, often spent time at libraries, book stores, and other places, or managed to afford daycare for a few days so Robert would have some place to go while she was out working that wasn’t the neighbors’ apartments. Robert isn’t sure when this happened, but after watching and reading some sci-fi books and movies, and spending time on those types of games with his friends from the apartments, he started to try and theorize ways of how to make them. It didn’t help that he was constantly interested in any and all forms of machinery that they talked about in school, and especially those shown by the Stark Industry. Iron Man himself was especially interesting to him, wondering how he could replicate it. Granted, a majority of this interest was based on lights and sounds to begin with, but as Robert got older, he started finding different books and material to assist him in learning these things. After getting a small laptop for his thirteenth birthday from everyone in the apartment complex, his horizons expanded. He began watching different technology based feats, examples in robotics and machinery, and, on his off time, became inspired by different media outlets online. Eventually this got Robert a full ride into Empire State University, and provided him and his mother with excess money from all the scholarships. However, Robert still wanted to help out more and practice some, so he started working part time as a computer repair man for anyone that would realistically need it. Everything was going well for him and his future was looking bright. However, about two months ago, a weird rain landed on him and a sudden cocoon wrapped around him, cutting him off from the outside world. He must’ve spent days or weeks inside there, but, when he finally came out, nothing changed. Everything seemed ordinary. Over the radio people were talking about these new mutants and how powers started to manifest, but Robert seemed unaffected by it. It wasn’t until he went to adjust the radio due to static interference and he bonded with it did he truly understand. However, he took it slowly in stride This helped him understand different machines and how to upgrade them. He found ways to make use out of it for his daily life. However the more relaxed traits of his personality took over. While he was still interested in designing and developing new technologies, everything seemed easier to him since he was able to interface with anything and modify as he needed. Though he promised his mom he would finish college and find a good job, he doesn’t have much drive. ---------------------------------------------------------- Extra: ManaFiend’s Shaggy Cosplay https://aminoapps.com/c/cosplay/page/blog/cartooncosplaychallenge-shaggy-rogers/ZvUB_uQDwW2MR2gg05YEM8D0eL8kwZ Cyan He spent a week in the cocoon.
