That poison that the RainWing spat could very well be more potent than the fire Eclipse breathed-- or even his ice breath. His dark eyes flicked back to Dreamseeker and the rest. Everyone looked just about as stunned as he was, save for Jaguar. Said dragon seemed very pleased with herself. 

[color=7FFFD4][b]"All that I know is that some strange dragon came into the rainforest and asked for some of the RainWing venom. And we gave it over without a second thought,"[/b][/color] Jaguar snarled as her tail lashed. Then a moment of silence passed before she opened her mouth again. [color=7FFFD4][b]"I mean, [i]they[/i] did. Not me. I was one of the only ones who refused to hand over the venom. That's when I decided that I should probably leave the tribe behind."[/b][/color]

It was difficult to believe that a tribe of dragons would willingly hand over something so deadly. [color=7ea7d8][b]"This is ridiculous,"[/b][/color] Skua hissed.

[color=7FFFD4][b]"Sure is."[/b][/color]

This time, Dreamspeaker spoke up. [color=614051][b]"So you say that a dragon asked for your venom? Do you remember what they looked like?"[/b][/color]

Jaguar's expression didn't change. [color=7FFFD4][b]"The dragon doing the venom collecting was one of our own, a dragon by the name of Lemur. I never saw the dragon-- or dragons --themselves."[/b][/color]

Skua scoffed. How did they know she was being honest? She could just be lying about this whole thing and trying to make them run circles around each other. 

[color=614051][b]"She's telling the truth."[/b][/color] Dreamseeker spoke up again as if she had read his mind. 

Her words only fueled his frustration. [color=7ea7d8][b]"How can you tell?"[/b][/color]

[color=614051][b]"Don't you think she would be stammering and contradicting herself if she was trying to cover something up?"[/b][/color] she continued gently. [color=614051][b]"She's been telling us the facts, no matter how silly they may seem."[/b][/color]

Jaguar let out a deep, bored sigh. [color=7FFFD4][b]"Least someone around here has some sense. Was worried I'd be the only one with a brain."[/b][/color][/color]
