Aela nodded to Emily’s suggestion and blushed slightly as Eric gave his response and stood beside her. Their hands were brushing each other’s and she lanced her fingers in his. “[color=a187be]Okay we can check it out and if there is a slightest hint of danger we come back here.”[/color]

Instead of taking the lead she let Emily or Eric go ahead to lead. As a wave of exhaustion began to settle over her and her pain retreated into a dull afterthought.
