Yeah as near and far as you can tell this is just a bath house. Now I don't know how experienced Martin is about bath houses, but I would say that he can at least infer this much from it's location and existence: You could buy prostitutes here, since that's usually what a bath house makes the most money in, in addition to actually being able to take a bath and wash up. And in this part of town, where it's more or less a lawless ghetto, it certainly wouldn't be unusual to see prostitution here. Which in and of itself has... A complex existence within the city. But suffice to say Martin will at least know that this place isn't any more better or worse than any other whore house or bordello that takes itself seriously as a business.
