[indent]Joshua's body is plain and average, maybe even a tad diminutive for his age. Standing unconfidently at five foot eleven, you wouldn't call him imposing in any sense of the word and he knows it- walking with hands in his pockets and with a gait that draws little attention to him, if it wasn't for the swing of his hands and the small bounce he made with each step you would think he could glide- that is if you notice him moving at all. The long hours he stays up have etched dark circles under his auburn eyes that no amount of rest has managed to erase, nor the slack in his jaw when he forgets to close it.

And what about the rest of him? Well, there isn't much to tell... Tattoos? Not one. Facial hair? No more than a stubble on the off day. No it may be true there isn't much to Joshua yet, but the boy is still cooking, who knows where life might take him.[/indent]

[indent]Joshue is still figuring out what he wants in life, he's struggling to find himself in a world that just piles on expectation after expectation. The stress he found in doing well made his dislike the attention and the expectations it brings along. So for the longest time Joshua would stay silent, do the bare minimum and never bring attention to himself to the point it has become ingraned into his character- where he struggles to match the pace of conversations should they be on topics he is unfamiliar with, and sometimes he doesn't have the energy at all to talk, opting to listen instead. But don't take this meakness as his only trait, the built up resentment of others able to do so much more than him have tipped him over an edge sometimes- there's no furious storm but when pushed he's found it more than within his right to lash out back. A problem that brought his powers out to light in the first place.

Unable to handle the stress, Joshua has found himself in a cycle of self-destruction where he struggles to change himself, to gain new skills, to learn, as the adversity or lack of his own abilities strips him of any energy to try, to practice, and to be watched is even worse. He hates to be seen outside of his comfort zone regardless of how he pretends to feel, and grows more frustrated as he continues to practice.

So maybe it's no surprise that Joshua finds himself the most comfortable around strangers- those who don't know him, have no expectations of him. He could talk for hours about the most pointless topics with a mood so chipper that you'd think he was Mr. Perfect- because he knows at the end of the day he isn't important enough in their lives for them to expect anything of him.. until they get closer.. until they become friends of a kind.. and the fear that he isn't doing enough for them grows.. that he isn't good enough in their eyes.. 

And the cycle continues...

[b]▼ SKILLS/TALENTS:[/b]
[indent]Joshua is resourceful- and sure he may not have had the time to learn twenty skills and five new langues and eight dead ones by the time he was three, but that just means he had more time to hone his abilities in what he was good at, and make the most of them. Although he might not look it , Josh is a people person, or I should say he [i]gets[/i] people, more than that he gets in their head and can empathise with how they are and what they did. While there's no real method behind it, understanding how a person acts and from his own experiences Joshua's assumptions of what someone might do are fairly accurate. Even if he can be right in a while the fear of being wrong and seeming cruel, judging someone wrong and being judged back for it keeps his ego in check, and his mouth closed. Or he could just be super judgemental who knows.

Strangely, Joshua is unusually fast at low-skilled labour, especially ones that require going through repetitive motions again and again.

[indent]My name is Joshua B. Istvan. I came into contact with Delta-Point energy and for the last two years I've been the one and only Deltahuman that I knew of. I'm pretty sure you know the rest. You see, I hid my powers, fell in love a few times, my mom married again, kept hiding my powers and avoided people, maybe too well, my family got testy, they made some dicey money choices, don't invest the rent in a Comic-themed restaurant. Then like a year passed, blah, blah, blah, super boring, a guy broke my arm, I broke his leg, my mom and step-dad split up. But I handled it like a champion. 'Cause you know what? No matter how many times I get hit, I always get back up. And I got a lot of time to reflect and work on myself. Did you know half of all marriages last for life? Could you imagine a person seeing another person and then making it work? She wanted kids... and it scared him. I'm pretty sure he broke her heart. Flash forward. I'm in the apartment doing push-ups, doing ab crunches, getting totally jacked, when this weird thing happened. And I gotta say, weird things never happen to me. But this was real freaky. You see, that guy I beat up before, well apparently there's a thing called excessive force, and apparently using powers you're no good at still counts as 'too much'. It took them a while to find me, but the government didn't stop looking- I became a registered Delta, and got sent off to this 'Academy 003'. I have a feeling that the thing that brings people here, is the kind of thing that gets people killed. You wanna know what happens next? Me too.

[indent]Colour Absorption - Through his will, Joshua can absorb colours around him, removing it from their source and rendering targets colourless and grey. Objects function completely normal with the exception that creatures find themselves feeling colder than before. While he may absorb colours remotely the process is faster when he is in contact with a target. He stores these colours within himself to use in various ways but they are released slowly if stored for too long, and must be replenished over time. Colour returns naturally to the source once Joshua has used up their colours, and slowly saturates from a grey palette to the colours the source should be.

Colour Blast - Exerting himself, Joshua is able to release the pent up colours in a dazzling display of light that can blind anyone watching.

Chromakinetic Constructs - Using colours, Joshua can create tools, objects, weapons or any other item you can imagine. While naturally these objects are made from one colour, their size is limited to the amount of that colour Joshua holds, they are also rather brittle and break under some pressure- but using more colours in the creation of a construct grants them more strength, size and durability. Mixing uses different colours, and the strength of a mix is based around how different each colour is. If two similar tertiary colours (like for example red-purple and red-orange) were to mix the result would be far weaker than two fully saturated primary colours such as red and blue.[/indent]

[b]▼ LIMITS:[/b]
[indent]Joshua stores colours within himself to use in various ways but they are released slowly if stored for too long, and must be replenished over time. While he can concentrate to withhold colours for longer it puts a strain on his body until he gives in or passes out. 
The range of his absorption may increase in time, but for now it can reach no more than a few feet and even then the speed at which he can absorb leaves much to be desired.
While he may be able to materialise fantastical constructs, they are limited in scope. Simpler creations are produced faster and require less colour to create, and the more complex the creation the longer it takes for Joshua to concentrate and shape it. Still untrained with his ability, the constructs he may create at this time are rigid and inflexible so while in time he may create softer or stranger constructs at this time they're all as hard as stone to the touch. With training he could produce appendages, giant pillows or bodies of water and liquids. [/indent]

[indent]Joshua's strength lies in the array of colours he can and has absorbed, in places with a monochrome colour palette his constructs and blasts lack strength and durability.
He isn't immune to his own power either, and when he has exhausted his colour 'battery' Joshua may find himself using his own body colour- a mentally and physically taxing feat that gives him headaches, nosebleeds and strips his body of warmth until he is freezing, shortly after he will pass out.
Constructs are no mean feat either, and Joshua can feel them as though they were an extension of his own body. He shares their sense of touch and pain regardless of how durable they are, when they become damaged he receives some amount of mental feedback, he feels their pain, and when they break it is as though one of his own bones has shattered.
