[indent]Stephanie Elizabeth and Brandon Clyde made their first appearance into the world thirteen minutes apart on a warm May afternoon of the new millennium, first and only children to Benedict and Arabella Cross. The twins had a fairly normal childhood, consisting of causing plenty of mischief together with a bond so strong it baffled those around them. At school, Bran and Spice were average students, with a stable group of friends and active in different extracurricular activities.

At the age of sixteen, Stephanie got herself involved in what would be the relationship to change the course of her life. After much deliberation and consideration the Cross parents concluded that the best course of action was to send Stephanie to live with her father’s sister in Ohio. This, of course, was not well received by the twins, who had never been separated for a period of time longer than a month. Spice still clearly remembers the immense heartbreak of that last hug with Brandon, even if she knew she would see him again soon.

Surprisingly, Spice had grown to enjoy Columbus and the opportunities it provided. The fresh start had been a blessing, allowing her to shed the mean-girl reputation she’d thrived upon back in LA and build up the rebellious wild child one instead.
