Totally understandable." Neil forgave being suddenly hoisted by up by the Altissima sisters. "Although, I don't think I'm a target. I think she's just after Sir Nero for whatever reason." Seeing that the Liliraune was pushing the cart, Neil immediately offered his help. And he wasn't taking a 'no'. "Come on, now. No need to do that. Let me push you two." The Altissima sisters might protest but Neil would shoot that down. "Don't worry about me. I've gotten quite used to this." He then sighed. "I'm just worried how this'll affect my surprise for you two." "Oh crap, me and my big mouth." Neil reprimanded himself as his face flushed. "Uhh, yeah. I was planning a surprise for the two of you. I-I hope you'll like it... Err, you'll probably like it."
Of course, if Sylvia had stopped to think about it, Neil was right, there was no reason to suspect that he would be a target of the kidnapping, and worried that her attraction to him would be obvious. Of course, it was natural for monster girls to simply take the objects of their affection, and that was possibly what the kikimora was doing, but to coexist with humans and with men was to respect their consent, even more so given that the sisters were raised by humans with human value. "Thanks for the push," Vivian said gratefully as Neil began to push their cart, since Sylvia was too lost introspection. But then Neil accidentally divulged that he had a surprise in store for them. "A surprise? What is it? Wait, don't tell us if it's not ready yet..." "I can't wait though," Sylvia added, "But for me, it's not the act of being surprised, but the anticipation of knowing that a surprise is coming that makes it exciting. Oh, b-but we should probably deal with the matter at hand first." Sylvia added finally to re-center herself on the immediate problem. Still, she had to wonder what prompted this from Neil. Did he have feelings for her too? Or, more painfully, did he have eyes for Vivian? It was a potential reality that the sisters knew that they might have to deal with if either of them found a romantic partner.
