At the mention of sparring, Ed chuckled. “I do miss sparring. I forgot if I had told you, or Kire did, that I helped teach her how to be a swordsman. And sparring with the Riaelwen was a welcome challenge. I’m sure sparring with you will be…interesting.” He smirked. He kept his gaze on her as she watched the snow falling outside the window, his look softening to a fond smile, though he did put on a cheeky grin at her question. “A few days with me, to show you around Amria. And, only if you want it, I can show you around my room.” He chuckled at that, shaking his head at his own brazenness. It had been a long time since he had been this forward with a woman. “But the trip is not contingent on that other offer. I am still at your disposal for those few days. Honestly, if we win this, I just want a few days without having to think about my duties as Wyvern, Captain, all of that, preferably in pleasant company.” He looked out the window, same as she did, sipping his wine. “Though, if you would like help to sleep tonight, I am your humble servant.” He glanced sidelong at her, a brief smirk on his lips before looking back out again.
