For those not in the discord, (well I mean, there's like Hammerman right now and that's about it? But compiling the info anyway) I'll be putting some extra information which my last post referenced but didn't expand on just yet below.

Right now at the ball there's some visible police security outside and also some plainclothes officers mingling with the crowd. Amongst them may be Alexander controlled by [@Crazy Scion], I'll have to ask if he wants to be here and how.

It's mostly to watch for any illegal stuff because most people are under-age. Also to dissuade random brawls amongst party-goers.[/hider]

The government agency Alto's family is a part of. The details below is basically a rough summary of it. Details might change in the future.

Thrones is an organization which oversees the use of force in civilian and combat scenarios, a.k.a. police and military, and acts as a judicial authority amongst many other responsibilities. The Organization traces its roots to the personal bodyguards of the King, when Rhea had once been a monarchy. They were there to make sure the King's army served the king, and to make sure the king served the country. 

In modern times, Thrones' purpose is largely the same, but as the system of government has put power in the hands of the people, their stated intention is to protect the people at all costs.

Besides their judicial powers, Thrones has the ability to deploy special agents to personally intervene in situations they deem worthy of attention. These special agents often work in low numbers, or even alone.

Thrones must thoroughly screen their agents to only be the best of the best. Or else they may lose the power to enforce the justice that may be required for the situation.

Many powerful families will serve with Thrones for generations. The bureaucratic side of Thrones is often staffed in a similar manner, with generations of expertise to diffuse situations before they even occur.
