[@Gardevoiran] ‘Eh… We’re… not exactly friends, I just happen to know who he is…’ Vivia said, and eventually decided to hang along with Skylar on the way. Still would have been cool to perhaps talk with Dawkin about what had been going on, but he was heading off somewhere so maybe not. Skylar went to the Pokémart, that despite the kinda desert setting looked exactly the same. Go-Goggles was 1,200P. 10 Great Balls is 6,000P. Minus 7,200P. Then, they headed off to the Stone Store, a rather big and crowded enough place. It was one of those things that brought outsiders to Raremine Town, after all. The walls were yellow, like they wanted to inspire gold and riches, combined with red carpets and rocks hanging around on pedestals where people could inspect and decide if they wanted to buy them or not. Anyways, here’s the available stuff. Not to mention they don’t have everything. The things they have available vary from day to day, they don’t know what they’ll mine. But you know, you could go to the Desert Mines and dig some up yourself! Then you’d get them for free, AND you could find things they don’t even have! By some twist, the largest mineral deposits in the land is located right under the desert, making it an attractive place to build mines. From that, Raremine Town naturally sprung into being as a merchant town on the edge of habitability from where the mineral could then be delivered to the rest of Isson. The temperature is hot, sun blazing down on this land where plains slowly become desert, the atmosphere dry and unfriendly… yet, life and trees blossoms among the buildings of Raremine Town. The ground is still the grass from the Vast Plains, with buildings on top of them. The modern houses stand tall with plenty of architectural skill put into them, tools for building and living sold inside the houses. Everywhere, one can see workers walking about, but they’re happy workers, with their families living close at hand in the town and with the finest equipment available. Oh, and of course, plenty of Pokémon that assist with the finding of ores and such! There was a bunch of Zigzagoons as well, their heads popping up here and there. Still, Basil ignored those and went up to the tallest building that he could find. It wasn’t hard, and he found most doors to be open. Assuming he was fine with climbing an abandoned, unlit staircase he eventually found his way to the roof, able to gaze across the area, see across the buildings, and… There. On the south side of the route, barely touching the edge of Silent Forest (not where he came out, of course), was something that definitely stood out as out of place. If he went there…

Abandoned Shrine
So. There’s a shrine, standing on the edge between the abandoned buildings in the southern area of Route 11 and the Silent Forest further south. It’s positively tiny, and despite the markings all over around it. A few Chinglings jumped about, just looking happy and not minding anything at all, making their little ringing sound as they did. When it starts crying, it’s hard to make it stop. Inside the tiny shrine was a podium. On top of the podium stood a strange mirror. It was adorned with an odd frame that had varying colors adorning it. As for what it was or what it was doing here, there were no particular answers for. So, that’s what was here, as far as Basil could tell. What would he do, here?
And if he didn’t want to do that, what would he do next?

Route 11
Those heading to Route 11 by any other route than from Rainrock may receive a warning of the weather conditions by the clouds gathering overhead to release before climbing over Mt. Strength. Route 11 consists mainly of one big road leading in-between Rainrock City and Redcoast City, two cities with very close ties and bonds due to many reasons. Aside from the main road there are farmlands below as well as plenty of small patches of forests and plains around, all under the spotty clouds that sometimes shower the area in a blanket of light rain, sometimes shine down with a hopeful sun through the cracks in the sky but mostly both at the same time. Route 11 is somewhat of a crossroad. To the east lies Rainrock City, and the path there leads on an incline to the high altitude of the mountain-laid city from the coastal Redcoast City in the west. Should one decide that one does not wish to head in either direction, the path north to Route 12 exists and is considered the main road to bigger places like Bigfjord or Worldedge City or perhaps out over the seas of Route 27. Route 11 is also fairly known for a high amount of abandoned buildings, as those who lived in them moved to neighboring cities in recent times. They stand, looming, free to explore for those who rejoices in emptiness. But, one famous building that perhaps isn’t as abandoned is the Pokéball Factory in the north-east, just off-road in the direction of Route 12. The route is decently well-trafficked, with trainers and others coming down from Route 12 to Rainrock or Redcoast or onwards, and as such trainers might want to stay off the main road. Plenty of side-roads, though. Due to the rains many hurry past these terrains… but perhaps they’re missing out on a few rare Pokémon in the process?

1. Dawkin earned 1500 P! And that was that. Afterwards, some of the remaining audience congratulated him on his victory as well as Pikachu on his evolution, and asked if he was alright. Assuming everything was fine, Dawkin then took this weird vial he’d found and brought it to the Pokémon lab. He found Dunstan sitting at his table, examining a couple samples. He blinked a bit as Dawkin showed up into this decently dark lab lit only by the green samples around here. ‘You’re back sooner than I expected. What are you…’ Dunstan started, then his eyes went to the vial, containing something that looked blue compared to the green all around Dunstan’s lab. This was the first time Dawkin saw Dunstan with wide-open eyes. Then it was like the professor had used the Pokémon move Snatch, because all of a sudden Dawkin wasn’t holding the vial anymore. Dunstan spilled some of the contents of the vial on a tiny glass platter, put it under a microscope, and peeked down at it. ‘These… are cells,’ Dunstan said. ‘Pokémon cells. But… that’s…’ He then grabbed a different machine and directed it at the sample, frowning as he was getting data to his computer, which was saying things that Dawkin couldn’t possibly interpret. ‘These should be long dead. They’re far too old to have survived on their own. They’re from a multitude of different Pokémon, yet the ones in the middle…’ he said and then looked over into the telescope once again. ‘… Are shimmering in varying colours, and as I look at them, it feels like I’m-’ Dunstan suddenly tore himself from the microscope. He lifted his glasses, placed them back in front of his eyes, then lifted them again. He blinked a couple of times. ‘… The cells are keeping the other cells alive. Healing cells. Cells of the life-giving Pokémon…’ he said, breathing out heavily as he lifted up the vial of blue once again, staring at it. Eventually, having taken his samples, he hands the vial back to Dawkin. ‘Where did you get this?’ he asked, utterly serious. If he feels like it afterwards, Dawkin can head off to do other things.
