The respective classes, or “vocations” as they are called, are; [b]Fighter, Warrior, Strider, Ranger, Magic Archer, and Mystic Knight[/b]. I will note that there are two additional vocations, assassin and sorcerer. Both of these however are more so “elite types” and simply upgrades of strider and mage. So I felt that including them will be redundant. As for the magic system, mostly is mostly based around an elemental system. There are five elements in the DD world; fire, water/ice, lightning, darkness, and holy. Fire magic is self explanatory, flaming weapons, fireballs, walls of flame and so on. Lightning is your typical casting of electricity and summoning of tempests. Ice magic is freezing foes and casting shards of ice at them. Dark and holy magics are my personal favorites. Dark magic is along the lines of blinding foes, sleep spells, health debilitation, and petrification. Holy magic is mostly wards, healing spells, creating wisps of light for the dark areas, and holy enchantments (for undead and ghosts). The magics also have practical uses, such as using ice spells to freeze a river for crossing or creating a wall of ice as a barrier against overwhelming enemies. Fire spells can be used to clear forests or tight caverns and hallways of any traps or hidden enemies. You get the idea.
