She was already deep in it now. Her attacks just bounced off the armor, probably due to her low strength and relatively low weight of the iron chains. But there was no time to think, not when that thing far outstrips her in speed. Ari did not retract the chain as it bounced off, instead letting its momentum carry it upwards, wrapping around the branches above her. Following the movement of the chains, she pulled herself upwards as she unfurled its full length, dislodging it from the branches and spinning rapidly as she fell down, smashing the centipede with the combined strengths of her own spinning, gravity and speed.
