[@Dog] It's good to see the age get dropped and the lore get altered a bit to accommodate the current generation of bolt weaponry. I do think that he is indeed due for a picture of a younger chap to reflect the age a bit better. As for his role as a supporter and worker in the rear lines of the revolution, I'm still on the fence about that one. I see where you're going with it, but it will lead to your character being separated from the player group more often than not, and leave for a lot of non-interaction, which is something I'm trying to avoid in this RP. Essentially the more split up the characters get, the more things there are to take into account for all parties involved, and it bloats the plot and makes it more difficult to track. There's nothing wrong with having a character more talented on the social and economic side of the revolution, but he should be willing to fight and be able to hold his own. I say that because the resistance isn't always going to be fighting on its own terms all the time, and the characters are going to need to be acting in defense where fighting isn't a choice but a necessity. If he can't do that, then he's very liable to getting killed. EDIT: On that note, don't think that this RP is going to be all fighting. To break down how this is all going to be run, the purpose of the RP having months with different effects is because there are two major missions to happen each month. One in the first half, and one in the second half. The leadup to those missions is the planning and preparation of the missions where the resistance is uncovering intelligence, coordinating with other cells, making allies, and gathering supplies. The mission itself will more than likely feature combat if the group decides a loud approach is necessary, but can be completed through alternative means if the group is creative enough. So having a socially optimized character is great in the build-up leading into the missions, but I don't intend on exempting characters from said missions either as that fragments the player characters in a way I don't want. EDIT 2: Alternatively, the players can opt to forego a mission in favor of additional logistics or taking advantage of some monthly events to gather more support for the revolution. As the resistance accrues stranglehold, it might be wise to lay low and not conduct operations so they can reduce the heat a bit, so to speak.
