For as long as they can see Raimund, the crest can lend courage to his allies on the battlefield or push his peers to study a little harder in class. Though he can come across as overbearing at times, Raimund prefers to sign any interaction with a smile.
The concept of truth, to Raimund, can be considered relative. A true story isn’t always as entertaining as a tale based on one. Raimund also finds it difficult to call people out and would rather tell a white lie or two… Or ten… Or twenty… He loses track sometimes.
Be it a high tea or a tavern brawl, Raimund easily adapts to any social circumstance. He is easy-going and doesn’t like to judge.
His lackadaisical attitude can be interpreted as a lack of strong morals. In particular, this is a weakness for a representative of a noble house.
Raimund is no stranger to hard work, but has a terrible sense of managing his time. When unaccounted for, his sleep schedule is all over the place.
He takes pride in his athletics and physical prowess. Shallow as may be, this is a great way to either flatter or insult him.
History
Pegasus Moon of 1489, a twelve year old boy last saw his father. His father rode east towards Almyra’s border and the boy was left in the care of House Gloucester, knowing not when or if the man would come back for him. All the boy could think was that the hand on his shoulder was slenderer and paler than any hands in his memory. The same month House Gloucester announced to the lords of the Leicester Alliance that Raimund Kent, bearer of Chevalier’s crest, would be remaining in their care. His introduction to the other Houses bewildered Raimund. He had expected to dress for the occasion, but not once in his lifetime had he considered wearing stockings. In order to present himself, he’d been taught proper posture, the etiquette to address noblefolk and the steps to a waltz. All three of which he promptly forgot on the night of his début when he overheard Duke Gloucester jokingly propose a marriage between him and his dance partner. Raimund slowly grew into his place within the House. He found a passion in falconry and his dedication did not go unnoticed by the other lords. Raimund joined many a hunt, where he would have his birds perform aerobatics to flaunt and entertain. He grew more comfortable in the ballroom, even if the young lady on whose toes he’d stepped a few years prior would not give him a chance to redeem himself. Within the common circles, Raimund’s outgoing personality and lack of a title made him into one of the more approachable members of the family - though his guardians would prefer Raimund paid a little more mind to the social divide. Come 1495, Raimund would join the Officer’s Academy. Though he was saddened to bid goodbye to his home in Gloucester, Raimund was not about to let this chance slip away. He would, on account of his adoptive family, join this year’s Golden Deer.
Trivia

Raimund doesn’t like his name. Whenever he can let his hair down, he prefers being addressed by a nickname or the shorthand Rai.
Raimund might have grown up charming, but he’s stumbled plenty on the way. There is a wealth of stories about awkward misunderstandings and absurd interpretations of etiquette that will haunt Raimund until the day he dies.
Let’s set one thing straight. You are less important than the pupper. Raimund has a weak spot for animals. There are of course dogs and his birds, but in his time at the county of Gloucester, Raimund has spent a lot of time with horses and cattle. He even has experience delivering calves, much to the chagrin of his adoptive family who have desperately tried to cover such stories up.
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life. It doesn't matter whether you're young or old, common or noble, man or woman, Raimund will take you for a swing.
Raimund is 183cm (6ft) tall and weighs 75kg (165lbs).
Raimund’s favourite dish from the dining hall is sweet and salty whitefish saute.
