I believe the point being made is that the GM was suggesting making a Servant that's more than a no-name wraith vaguely associated with a concept such as the French Republic, and you confirmed in detail that they're... a no-name wraith vaguely associated with a concept like the French Republic, rather than merging the idea of a symbol of the republic with someone who actually has some standing as a Republican symbol on their own. Instead you have an Assassin whose Noble Phantasm, if it can even be called that, is inferior to the weaponry even most more modern Servants are [i]summoned[/i] with, who would probably and rather awkwardly lose in a fight with Sanson. Or Hundred Faces.
