There's nothing more difficult for Caspian than to wear clothes that doesn't represent him in any way and that is a complete inconvenience due to the cut, style, or fit. He has two specific styles depending on the occasion. Fairly banal wear (sweat pants, tees, bomber jackets, with a hoodie underneath, etc.) and red-carpet worthy wear (self-explanatory). Occasionally, you can find him wearing his black frames, instead of his contacts. His charm lies within the way he carries himself — a combination of mystery, mischief, and meaning. His keen intelligence and cleverness is written on his passive face. His perspicacity is behind his intense and sleep deprived gaze. A charming boy, but not by the typical standards of every other Liberty High kid. While The Golden Boys stand under the sun, Caspian chooses to hide in the shadows.
Makeup Wise: Isn't opposed to wearing makeup, but only does when his sister wants to use his face as a canvas or if his friends convince him to for a costume (or something).
Scars, Tattoos and/or Piercings: Has both his earlobes pierced and does like wearing earrings. Though, this feature isn't notable since people are distracted by the aura he gives off.
Other: When you get him to smile, which is rare, he has a wonky smile that people find endearing and adorable. Unlike his twin, he doesn't talk your ear off. If he's comfortable with your presence, sure, he'll strike up an intellectual conversation. If he isn't, well, don't expect much from him besides a word or two, or complete silence. He knows when to talk, when not to talk, and how to talk to certain people. He chooses how he speaks, may it be only two word sentences or an eloquent monologue. He intentionally lies, filters words, or expresses himself with complete honesty. Words, as he was taught, needs to be threaded strategically. All for the sake of staying ahead, winning, and not being taken advantage of. People are sometimes conflicted with adoring Caspian for being genuine, kind, and charming or fearing him, due to his shift in emotion and his clear barrier. Unfortunately, one of his faults is he broods and brooding leads to a lot of bottled up emotion. Unbeknownst to him and his family, Caspian developed OSDD-1, which is difficult to diagnose because there is no clear boundary that determines sufficient amount of information to warrant the belief he has a subsidiary of DID. The notable alter, while not distinct, consider it an emotional fragment, does not take complete control of his body, but does twist his original personality. In OSDD-1a, dissociated parts are more likely to present themselves as the same individual but at different ages, different modes, or as different version. If one were to pay close attention to him, the alter that comes out when he's triggered, in comparison to possible others that are buried under the surface, is an alter with critical traits he believes his parents wished he had, like having an extreme hubris, no toleration for individuals that defy him, and an intimidating dominance. Fear of being left behind and losing people, under the pressure of being the Grey legacy, has caused him to strive for excellence, leaving little to no room for failure. An incident from his childhood has escalated his mental state, giving him depression and anxiety, which only enhanced his need to dissociate at times, and become a ruthless, colder version of himself. Caspian isn't aware of this emotional fragment, nor if he has others. While he centers his emotions, good and bad, by playing the cello, he finds his inner peace in nature and gardening. Only recently he's been admitted to weekly therapy.
Biography

The Greys are one of the wealthiest families in the area, their residence, a Scottish baronial-style mansion designed by Pyotr Konstantinovich Yahontov in the year of 1895, is one of the largest privately owned houses in the United States. Pyotr ended up taking his Scottish wife's surname, Grey, for simplicity's sake. Prior to their move, Aileana Grey spearheaded a musical dynasty of her own, choosing to revisit the romantic classical era, and adding her own notable pieces to such a stylistic time. This was to be expected by the daughter of a remarkable Scottish maestro, Fraser Grey. Aileana had enough wealth to help her and her Russian husband, that she married in secret, immigrate to America, so that they could start building their own empire: together. However, this wasn't enough for Pyotr. He wanted to make sure the Grey dynasty lived on, without much to worry about, and his wife, while talented, was more known in Scotland than the USA. So, he invested in the most Cleveland of industries, beer. He, a banker at the time, in Columbus, Ohio, as "Peter Grey", decided to build a brewery, using the money his wife had left. His son maintained the family brewery before the prohibition, and then they sold it, deciding to diversify into a more legal beverage: Coffee. As a unified family, they created the brand Arise Coffee, which has led to future Grey generations to own shares in companies like Kellog's. In addition, the Greys have had charitable donations in major Columbus projects, such as the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.

As heartwarming and inspiring as the Grey beginnings were, somewhere down the line, the passion and love ceased to exist. The passion and love that started it all seemed to falter the more money they accumulated. Their concern became inflation and the erosion of future investment income. They started disappearing from the public eye and their house that once held grand banquets and balls was now a place of secrets. No longer were their lives about the principle, and the tradition of familial inheritance meant more to them than having a loving, caring family. There was a standard of excellence one must live by and now that weight was on the heir apparent, Caspian Grey. A boy, with his twin sister, obligated to succeed in all areas, as instructed by their strict parents. Aside from his sister, did he ever truly have support? He can't trust the staff because as much as he wants to, he knows they will report to his father at the end of the day. Part of him feels like this wasn't always the case, but he can't remember a piece of his past that seems vital in him understanding not only himself, but his family. There are pictures of a pale-skinned boy he can't remember the name of, but he knows that was his brother. No one cares to tell him what happened or who the boy was, but clearly, the boy no longer walked this Earth. If there was something severe that happened, his sister would surely tell him, right? Unless she too is sworn to secrecy, all for the sake of the Grey dynasty. That or she needs saving, just like him. Sadly, it doesn't help that his mother treats him like a monster. What did he do to cause her to hate him so? The older Caspian becomes, the more ruthless his parents act. The more he masters, the more he will be given to master. From academics to chess to the cello to fencing to horseback riding to ballroom dancing... an endless cycle and there at the end of the dark tunnel, there's gardening and books. The small light he needs to stay sane. While he still adores all the skills he's obtained, like the cello, there's something about these two hobbies that separate themselves from the rest. There's something healing about the quiet in the garden with a book in your hand. Reading is like a gateway skill that opens up the door to more possibilities. With a garden and a library, he felt like he had everything he needed to keep his peace. Things seemed to go well, though every so often he was left in confinement for doing something he had no recollection of doing. For his high school career, he's kept a low profile, made donations anonymously to causes he cares about, and spent his time thinking about how to protect his family's name. He must never forget that money is a form of financial independence and must be kept safe. He isn't like his classmates, who strut their money, but that doesn't mean his image is squeaky clean. No social media presence to damage his reputation, but he still indulges in one vice which is frowned upon in the Grey family. If his parents knew he smoked, there would be something worst than confinement waiting for him. Fortunately, he's learned to hide in the public eye and go unseen. Hidden in plain sight. That is... until now. After the big reveal that Liberty High no longer existed, and he, along with the whole student body, would transfer, his parents did not take it well, at all. He didn't want to burden them, so he told them they could consider this a charity project, and he'd make it worthy of their praise. Caspian was so convincing that his father decided to take away the one thing he believed was a distraction to his son, his twin sister. One moment Caspian remembered staring at his father's matter-of-fact expression and that conniving smirk, and the next moment he found himself in front of a therapist. He had no idea how he got there but finding out that he attacked his father, and as a result, his sister was getting sent to boarding school as punishment was not something he wanted to find out from a stranger. The sooner Caspian can prove to his parents that Rosefell High was a smart investment on his part, the faster he can get his sister back... he just can't believe he would attack his dad like that. The way his therapist described it was monstrous and cruel. Truthfully, the main reason he fought to go to Rosefell in the first place was to be with the small group of friends he had, that had no choice but to go. Now, though? He's wondering if he's made a mistake.

Family

Father — Simeon Grey — FC: Mads Mikkelsen
The Butler & Pavel, the pet rat — ? — FC: Crispin Glover
Deceased sibling. I'd like to keep this part a mystery. As far as people recall, they remember a pale boy that wasn't the twins playing in the yard of The Manor, more often than not at night. They can't remember if it was before the twins were born or after. He did pranks, he giggled when people hurt themselves, and he had odd tendencies. Or did they make that up? This is an old house with many stories and even has a family graveyard in the back. It could very well be true, that there was another Grey sibling, or it can be as simple as nosy neighbors making stories. When the reality could be instead an ancestor whose ghost still walks The Manor’s premise. If the Grey twins did have another sibling, why wasn't there an obituary? Why can't anyone, outside of the family, remember him? For now, it’s best to not pry into strangers’ affairs and accept that Caspian is the heir apparent.
