I guess that is to say that Capsule Corp was the technological giant in the Dragon Ball Z world, but with this being [i][b][u]our [/u][/b] [/i]Earth (just with their characters and most of their lore), I just wanted to make it clear that CC was still the premier technology company. Other companies like Google and Amazon still exist on this world (competitors that didn't exist in Dragon Ball), but Capsule Corp still reigns supreme. 

Suppose some things never change, even through parallel universes. lol
