She was a bit surprised that the girl had picked up on her reference, considering the fact that she was trapped in some spooky timetravelling ghost casino during a majority of the time that the book series was popular. Her tense form relaxed a little when Mads waved her arms, hiding them from the slumbering creature, but she kept her eyes on the beast as the crept out of its domain and up Mount Othrys. When it was eventually out of sight, she turned around to face forward. When the ruins eventually came into view, a small smile arose on her face. She loved places like this, all decrepit and falling apart. Oddly enough, it was love for such places that led her to Jack London's cabin, or as she knew it now, the Wolf House. As the group marched inside, Waverley paused for a moment, squatting down to pick up the remains of a brick around the size of her palm. Souvenirs, she'd learned in her travels, were nice to have around. Mementos of past adventures she was able to keep in an easy-to-carry shoebox. She hurried then hurried in after the group, not wanting to be left behind. She slowed to a stop when she reached them, though her eyes were glued on the man being crushed before them rather than the group. Pity was rooted in her eyes as she looked on, though her face also took on a rather insulted frown when he spoke. "Puny? C'mon dude. Don't you think that's kinda rude?" she chirped up from the back, the corners of her lips curled downwards. Though she did look offended by his words, sympathy was still present on her face.
