[hider=Uragiri-ichizoku][color=gray]The Uragiri clan consists mainly of civilians, and a few shinobi -- although they are not of any specific quality. Unlike the Hyuga, they do not provide 'the finest', and unlike the Nara, they do not provide 'the brightest' and unlike the Sarutobi, they do not provide 'leaders'. Rather, they provide.. people. 

They started out in the lands of Kirigakure, but that was a long time ago. Only a fool would consider them Kirigakure shinobi. From Kirigakure, they traveled to Kumogakure, then to Iwagakure, and from there to the borders of Sunagakure, from which they went to Konohagakure. 

They were perhaps the clan that wandered the most before they settled down in Konohagakure. From then on they named themselves the Uragiri clan, where as beforehand they had been nameless. Their clan name, meaning 'Traitorous' is often misinterpreted as referring to themselves as traitorous people. This is not true, but many Uragiri have simply accepted that people would never understand. They are, after all, not Uragiri.

The truth is that the name comes from their story - in Kirigakure they were used for their money, and then hunted. This was back when there was no real Kirigakure village, only wandering clans, during the warring clans era. They escaped to Kumogakure, where they were then hunted for their strange appearance. That happened after they were betrayed by a Kumogakure shinobi, who promised them that they'd be able to earn some money if they performed some jobs for him.

Turned out that they were framed for murder, which was only added to the pile of accusations. They escaped towards Iwagakure, where they were once again betrayed, being promised a safe passage towards Sunagakure, but instead being assaulted because people thought they were wielders of a powerful Dojutsu due to their eyes. 

After losing many lives in Kirigakure, Kumogakure, and Iwagakure, they had thought to find salvation in Sunagakure, but upon entrance in the deserts, they were met with shinobi who barred them entrance, explaining that 'their kind was not welcome' due to the fact that they had been chased for so long by the other countries. It was simply assumed they were criminals. 

Being denied entrance to Sunagakure, the clan proceeded to wander the desert as a wandering clan for many years, slowly but surely making their way to Konohagakure, their last hope, who accepted them, as the hokage seemed receptive towards any clan, no matter who they were, as long as they proved to be valuable and honest assets to the Will of Fire. This was only ten years ago, making the Uragiri clan one of the least established and youngest clans in Konohagakure.

The clan is primarily (90%) just pure civilians that mostly work in shops or the industry. The remaining 10% are shinobi, like Sakana. And, while they are good at what they do, they are typically not very well renowned - not because nobody likes them or so, but just because they are pretty average all together. For that, Sakana is pretty much the one exception. In doing so, he has also become the clans' pride, more or less. That in and of itself isn't saying much, because even being above-average would make you a point of pride in the Uragiri clan.

The pride and prize of the family is their extremely large koi-ponds that line the walls around their small clan estate. Unlike the Hyuga or Uchiha clans, they do not have a large manor that houses the clan, and instead simply have a small estate that they use for clan meetings, as well as providing the grounds upon which they breed their expensive, and prized, koi fish.[/color][/hider][/indent][/indent][/indent]

[indent][indent][indent][color=black]Sakana's first and primary personality trait is that he believes and worships the Sage of the Six Path as if he were a prophet of ninjutsu. He believes that the Sage is responsible for determining the start, middle and end of everyone's lives, and as such believes that everyone has a fate that they are destined for. As such, he also thinks there is no sense fighting against your own fate, as everything is as it should be.

Sakana's over-reliance on fate to guide him means that he is brave to the point of stupidity, often jumping in and relying on his innate abilities to see him through. This is not to say he is without tactic or strategy, more so than that once he has made a plan, he will put his 100% into that plan, and see it through no matter what. He is also reckless; easily perceived as a more fitting word for 'stupid bravery,' Sakana can be rather reckless in his pursuit of success and doesn't shy away from injury (or death if need be) to achieve his goals.

Sakana isn't one to be subtle in what he means or thinks and will bluntly state what he believes, allowing him to transfer his ideas easily and without much hassle in trying to cushion things or beat around the bush. The same straight-forwardness also means that at time he can say things that are perceived as rude, mean or both.

At times, Sakana can be seen as greedy. He has the mentality of 'I take what is mine, and then I take some more' when he is allowed to -- rummaging through dead shinobi's pockets for trinkets and other goods isn't uncommon to him. Not entirely negative (if he killed something, he deserves the spoils.. right?) it does leave a sort of stain on his reputation -- if he were ever to become better known internationally, they would no doubt frown at this habit.[/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]

[indent][indent][indent][color=black]There is only so much that can be said about Sakana; he is an excellent shinobi and a cutthroat at that. Despite his clan's decisiveness in being average, he is the exact opposite and has excelled in most fields at a very young age. Make no mistake, however. While he is a young prodigy of the Uragiri clan, he is not exactly shinobi god material quite yet. He is a prodigy the likes of which you only see once a decade in a clan. 

Born to two average shinobi -- neither of which accomplishing much more than what was expected of them to begin with -- it was something of a miracle that he became as good as he was as quickly as he did. However, being a Uragiri, it wasn't like everyone was suddenly interested in him -- being a prodigy of the Uragiri clan was something like being the best loser. 

Partially that was because Sakana had a natural drive to improve. He was a natural at being a shinobi too and in the academy did rather well for himself, finishing in the top 10%. As a genin he did standard genin jobs for that time and saw some action, and was promoted to chunin after an incident in which he was forced to take over a leadership role after their jonin had been caught in a particularly nasty genjutsu. Although the mission failed and the targets got away with the loot, Sakana was praised for getting the jonin out of there and preventing the genjutsu from taking hold on his team. Not a particularly heroic story all things considered, but all in all a decent reason for promotion.

After this he was allowed to partake in the chunin exams and -- unsurprisingly -- passed it, finally finding a real challenge in the combat against other shinobi. Just two years later he was recognized for his talent and leadership during clandestine missions into foreign territory, and was promoted to be a jonin, and given the "pleasure" of leading his own team.[/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]

[hider=more info]The user seals or gets sealed 3 seals on their tongue, namely the characters for 'atsui' (熱い) meaning 'hot'. These seals contain fire jutsu up to the B rank Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku (can contain smaller ones like the regular Gōkakyū no Jutsu). Due to the small size of the seals, the jutsu are not quite as large as your average great fire annihilation, but the flames burn just as hot.

The technique is easily hidden and it'd require some real good eyesight to see these seals. Similarly, because the jutsu uses a standard jutsu, it is not quite apparent that they're using sealing to be used, and it's easy to mistake these for a jutsu being used without handseals. As such, finding out that seals are used in this technique will be extremely hard for anyone that doesn't have specifically good eyesight. The seals are activated by flowing jutsu to them to 'unfurl' them, and then allows the user to spew out the technique. 

The three seals are aligned from front to back saying, hot! hot! hot!

Adequately dodging the technique is easier the further away from you Sakana is -- the technique is still a simple Great Fireball Technique, so there are no additional things to account for except for the very sudden ability to summon the fireball. This technique will likely catch the opponent off guard -- which is what the difficulty is. Adequate response is still possible. Water also works well.[/hider]

Although she doesn't perceive it as such, she essentially is on a self-imposed exile. She retreats from social situations where she doesn't feel comfortable as she is afraid she doesn't fit in -- even her own friend group ultimately saw Sadako retreat due to this.

Her desire to prove herself -- to herself, her peers, and her superiors -- means that she is diligent and will always work hard -- and not just work hard, but also work first. As she says, dumplings over flowers -- utility before form.

Sadako can be rather obsessive, with identity and social issues but also in her labour, which is an extent of her search for an identity and her desire to fit in. Training is healthy, but she is obsessive about it in her attempts to prove herself to her peers, straining herself in the process and doing more damage than good in all likelihood. Furthermore, lacking an identity.. lacking a clan with status.. and believing that you are not good enough are all part of a cocktail that results in a low self-image.

Sadako is not entirely sure about her capabilities and even if she were, she thinks she is sub-par and not good enough, resulting in a humble demeanor where she prefers to stay quiet -- if someone questions her strength, she is more likely to turn her head and agree in silence than to convince them otherwise. Her proof of strength she hopes to show through practice -- not speech.

Her desire to fit in means that she is accepting of everyone, from the lowest misfit to the most arrogant nobleman. This has it's limits (typically limited by time before she withdraws due to not fitting in) but overall she is capable of accepting everyone.

Sadako tends to always assume the worst, questions everything and everyone's motives, and believes that everyone has ulterior motives. While this may be true sometimes, it makes her hard to deal with when it comes to teamwork.

[b]What drives Sadako the most is her desire to be someone, no matter what that is. The pursuit of an identity and someone to be pushes her further in everything she does, not realizing that being 'Sadako' is enough. The potential to be a 'good' person is in her, but it doesn't get to come out simply because she is pushing herself so hard with other things that she doesn't have time to be good.[/b][/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]

[indent][indent][indent][color=aquamarine]The circumstances of Sadako's birth and early childhood are a mystery to everyone in Konohagakure, which is easily explained by the fact that she was in fact not from Konohagakure, or even the land of fire, but in fact is from Amegakure. Nobody -- not even Sadako -- is intrinsically aware of this fact however. Her earliest memories are being a young child in a "city of metal pipes" before she somehow ended up in Konohagakure at age 7. She was taken in -- seemingly on her own -- and given a cheap way to earn a living; enroll in the academy, and your living expenses would be paid for. An easy choice to make for a young child that was hungry and soaking wet from the rain. She enrolled the next year.

During her initial training in the academy it became apparent that Sadako was -- besides being a bit strange -- a gifted student, excelling in the more academic pursuits of the training such as shinobi history, chakra studies, and so on and so forth, as well as the physical aspects of it. For the most part she performed admirably, especially in taijutsu and ninjutsu -- but sensei's remarked year after year that she was holding herself back by being shy and solitary. 

That was not to say she had no friends -- this isn't a sob story of an orphan -- but rather, she made friends easily and quickly, but then exiled herself by slowly withdrawing from the group. Sensei's mused that this might be because of her insecurities and low self-esteem, but her inability to talk to them about these things meant that there was never quite a conclusive answer.

During her fourth year in the academy she discovered her kekkei genkai (or hiden, who knows, there's no bloodline to trace the kekkei genkai to), although she ostracized herself for it and hid it from others to avoid standing out.

Being a late student she graduated two years later than most, at age 14, in the top percentile of her class. While her final exam went very well, sensei's expressed worry about her mental status and psychological profile, noting that she spent a lot of time researching history and bloodlines to look for who her parents could have been and what clan she could have belonged to, to the point that it was obsessive. She continued her solitary lifestyle and stayed away from others, feeling inadequate, though being open and friendly when forced to.[/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]

[hider=Gudōton]Although it is less a kekkei genkai (having no notable family to speak of, much less shinobi) and also not quite a hiden, it certainly seems to fit the bill of either of those two. Sadako seems to possess an innate ability to copy the creation of these black rods or black weapons, making them appear from her wrist through the skin after which her skin seals itself immediately. She can grab, and snap, the weapons too when they have reached the required length.

The black weapons are made of an extremely resilient material and require extremely strong tools to even scrape off some small dust of the material. As such, it cannot be broken by conventional tools or weaponry such as katana, kunai, or the likes, and in fact, the material is more than likely strong enough to break those items. 

Beyond this, the material is conductive to chakra and has the capability to disrupt chakra of those that get stabbed by the weapon, disrupting their ability to flow chakra to the area in question and, if used in several body parts, suppressing chakra to such a degree that no chakra flow away from the reserves are possible at all.

Contrary to that, the user is capable of sending chakra to these rods remotely, allowing them to perform numerous jutsu this way.

However, the rods are also extremely attuned to the users chakra. If any pure (not elemental, like katon chakra) chakra courses through the material, it will be much easier to use that and break the material, for example using a jutsu from the Hyuga palm style.[/hider][/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]

Using this technique, it is possible to make thrown weapons move even faster, although it is impossible to use this technique and then immediately throw a shuriken or kunai (so her teammates will have to do that).

[b]Chakura Yokusei no Jutsu[/b] -- simply put a chakra suppression technique that allows the user to hide the chakra of themselves or their friends. A downside is that, during the usage of this technique, it is not possible to use ninjutsu without giving away your position instantly, as it takes time to prepare the technique.

[hider=More information]After the victim has been impaled by at least one, and preferably more chakra receivers, the user will form the snake seal followed by the horse seal, and hold it there. This will send chakra into the black rods, which will then heat up slightly (not enough to cause pain) as the chakra is sent through the receivers, before they cause a painful sensation in the area around the receiver. This is best used on areas like the arms or legs, but can also be used elsewhere -- the pain is strong enough to debilitate an opponent, and from 2 chakra receivers onwards, it is unlikely that the target will be able to stand up.

The way this jutsu works makes it extremely susceptible to chakra disruption one way or another. While the chakra stream itself will be hard to stop (it transfers near instantly for as long as the seal is maintained), preventing the user from holding the seal will stop the jutsu. Removal of the chakra receiver one way or another would also work -- for example breaking them or removing them.[/hider]

[hider=More information]After the victim has been impaled by at least one, and preferably more chakra receivers, the user will form the snake seal and then extend their hands forwards towards the target -- as if they are pushing an object away. As their chakra flows into the rods, and transfers to the victim, they will be cast under a genjutsu that disorients the target greatly, and reverses all intake of senses -- things that are on the left move slightly to the right, smells don't smell the same anymore, hearing is warped or completely changed.

The more chakra receivers are impaled in the enemy, the stronger the effects and, because of this, the more warped certain senses get (hearing goes from scrambled but audible hearing to straight up hearing different sentences, for example). If this effect is great enough, one may even induce vomiting from pure sensory overload and confusion.

Although the jutsu functions the same as the Heavenly Debilitation technique, there are some key differences, as this involves a genjutsu. Because of this, stopping the chakra flow will only work if the genjutsu is maintained constantly (by the user continuing to have their hands outstretched towards the victim). But this will not take the person out of the genjutsu. Destroying the receivers, dealing pain to the victim (like a squeeze or punch) or killing the user of the technique would result in the end of the genjutsu, but if the receivers are not removed, the jutsu can simply be recast.[/hider][/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]

In a teamfight, she is useful as the aggressive engage who goes in first, who can then lock a single (or, when she is stronger, multiple) opponents out of the fight by using her specialized ninjutsu.

Her flaw is that she doesn't have any strong finishing moves that can put an enemy permanently out of the fight besides simply killing them with her fists. [/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]
