No other incidents happened with respect to Christine for the rest of the ball. After she finished dancing with Rurik, she proceeded to dance with various other personages in the ball. 

Lise was, of course, one of them.

She was naturally an expert dancer, much more so than Christine, making the ice manipulator being the one struggling to keep up with her fancy moves. A couple of times she ended up stepping on her feet, to the latter's chagrin. Not to mention the all-too-obvious sight of her too-short dress. When Lise confronted her about the matter, however, she only replied with a blushing smile and these words, "Oh, don't worry. I'm wearing a mask, you see, so it's not that embarrassing." 

Suffice to say the lady couldn't quite accept that reasoning.

Afterward, she had a couple more dances with complete strangers, mostly guys who were attracted to her (and her attire). She didn't last long, however, as she got tired and decided to take a break from dancing altogether. She spent the rest of the party eating and drinking while watching for her sister from a distance.
