[@gorgenmast] Name: Hajra Longshadow Rank: Minor Description: In life, Hajra had dark brown skin and black hair that was shaved bald on the sides, long hair in the center that was tied into a braid. Koztan Script tattooed on both sides of her head and light brown eyes. Tall and thin, with lean muscle from a life of fighting and surviving. Now her skin is a dark greyish color and her eyes look glossy and pale. There are scars around her neck from what looks like a rope. She wears loose-fitting clothes with a sash around her waist, a mask of cloth that hides her lower face, and a hood. A style she picked up in the capital, seeing travelers from the desert. Background: Her homeland, Kozta, is a death-trap. A massive tropical forest hot as a smithy's forge. Hotter even, at times. Bombarded by torrential downpours, rife with dangerous creatures, riddled with quicksand and that's not even the full measure. There are plants that will try to eat a person. Ground-creepers. Koztans build their villages off the ground in giant trees called Hoppas linked together by wide bridges because of this. In a hunter-gatherer based culture, those that venture out into the land to feed their people are treated as soldiers would be in other kingdoms. Respected and honored, brave are those who choose to hunt. Hajra was a hunter more akin to a warrior. When a Koztan hunting party goes to ground, hunting parties from other settlements are regarded as enemies to be driven away or killed if encountered. She survived there for 16 years, and then she left. She traveled to civilization. To the capital in search of an easier life. She struggled there for years learning the language and culture, trying to figure out how to survive in a place that was so different from her homeland. She discovered the similarities through the lustrous criminal underground and became a mercenary. A killer. A hunter. Then she went to prison, sentenced to hang. But instead, she was sent to assassinate some necromancer. Almost had him, too. Now she works for him, scouting the borders and investigating any and all threats to the Necromancer. Wards: Hajra has no lands under her control. She does have limited authority over lands and holdings under certain circumstances. If she suspects misconduct, treason, or is hunting for a mark, she cannot be denied in her investigation. She is also charged with patroling Leria.
