Upon entering the Desert Mines (Skylar overlooked the previous route for now, since he'd have to go back through it anyway), Skylar immediately was faced with not knowing what to do exactly. There was certainly a lot [i]to[/i] do, definitely, but as it stood at a moment's glance... well, maybe he could do a lot at once. At least, for the immediate moment, Skylar grabbed a tool, gave his sunglasses to JoJo, and reached into his bag to grab a bandanna he might have had. [color=mediumslateblue]"I doubt any of these miners would want to trade a fossil with me right now, seeing as I'm empty handed and low on cash, so..."[/color] Skylar's brows furrowed over his cloudy grey eyes. [color=mediumslateblue]"I guess I better get to mining! Whole team's coming out, get ready guys!"[/color]

Skylar knew JoJo and Seabreeze were out, so he took out the last four Pokeballs he had and sent each of his other buddies out, one by one.

... and while he was releasing, Seabreeze and JoJo chimed in as well.

Skylar looked at all his pals, everyone perching onto Paradise in some way. [color=mediumslateblue]"Alright, buds! Let's get some training done!"[/color]

Ah yeah, here we go!

So the plan is kind of simple. We're just gonna train off wild Pokemon while Skylar mines a bit. Need to raise up the levels of Jeebs and Royal namely, so the truth is that Skylar's probably going to switch-train them using Paradise, Seabreeze, and Mac (and JoJo occasionally, if there seems like a good battle). Paradise and Seabreeze have great type matchups against everything here basically, while Mac has a good matchup against Drilbur at times, so maybe he could get in a few good mons and possibly evolve. If that happened, then he'd immediately start being useful against Sandiles and Geodudes as well, which is an absolute force.

Maybe after a few battles there'll be a good groove going on and the Pokemon of the Mines will start to vibe with Skylar's attitude.

All this time, Skylar's gonna probably be mining to get whatever he can in this area. Since Jeebs and Royal will mostly be on the sidelines initially, as well as JoJo, they can help sift through anything that Skylar finds since, let's be real, Skylar is just as liable to pick up a random rock and think [color=mediumslateblue]Oh this must be a Hard Stone![/color] since he's nearly blind. Maybe with those three helping he could pick out a few of the items better from the crowd.

If some of the miners want to come and brawl, too, Skylar wouldn't be opposed to having a few bouts with them. Earn some money, and maybe some clout, could be pretty fun![/hider]
