[row][cell]Location: By the village gate[/cell][cell] Mizuraki Senju[/cell][/row][row][cell] [sup]_______________________________________________________________________________[/sup] [/cell][cell]The tiredness of her face was somewhat hidden by the makeup if nothing else...The terse expression on her face however was not something that was so easily masked, she didn’t like the idea of this mission, and she certainly didn’t enjoy the idea of leading more kids into combat...Having the responsibility of children’s lives on her shoulders, even if just for a little while, was still nerve wracking to the poor Senju woman. They reminded her too much of herself. Young. Their whole lives ahead of them and yet being thrown into the woods against unseen forces, it was a scene so familiar it practically gave her deja vu. However it didn’t matter how long she dwelled on it, it changed nothing, the only thing that she needed to focus on was getting these kids through this alive! After all it wasn’t like she’d be doing this every day. She made it clear to Seiji that she had no interest in teaching and Seiji, himself seemed to agree that it was for the best. “Right. So-” Mizuraki was cut off when the Cloud ninja arrived and commented on the kids. Her eyes immediately narrowed upon his first comment. “They won’t be a problem.” she said rather flatly and directly. The first of her team introduced himself as Hiro and Mizuraki couldn’t help but smile like an absolute fool at the fact the poor boy seemed to have no confidence, it was cute. “It’s lovely to meet all of you. I’ll be the best temporary sensei you’ve ever had.” she said while waving her hand in a casual manner. This was the team huh? She remembered reading over their files...Although she also remembered a heavy night of drinking that immediately followed the reading of said files so, it was really a toss up on how much she would actually remember. From what she DID recall however they were all fairly skilled in Taijutsu but if she had to make a formation she would play to their varying degrees of skill. The sound of a figure emerging from the trees made Mizuraki’s eyes open wide and she immediately turned around to meet whoever was attempting to get the drop on them, ready to meet them with a signature punch from the Senju...However she stayed her hand when she saw just what the man was wearing. Anbu? Here? She wasn’t told about this. The terse expression from before had returned to her face while she stared the Anbu operative down. Why would Anbu be involved in this mission? Scratch that. Why would Anbu be involved in a mission with literal Genin running around!? That was the far more pressing question. And when the man opened his mouth Mizuraki’s terse expression changed into one of pure irritation. “Excuse me?” the previous jovial tone to her voice had melted away entirely. “I didn’t realize this was an evaluation.” An angry smile came to the woman’s face as she closed her eyes to hide her glare. “I’m so sorry to make such a poor impression...Why don’t you come closer and let me show you how competent I can be.” The Senju woman punched her open palm and upon impact a small shockwave dispersed around the immediate area. Not enough to blow anyone away of course, but definitely noticeable. Mizuraki finally opened her eyes again when the council was mentioned. The council had a vested interest in this mission? A mission where they were sending genin. Just what the hell kind of mission was this...The more she heard about this the less she liked. Anbu, the Council and two squads of Genin along with the Cloud ambassador. So much of this mission didn’t add up whatsoever it was almost infuriating. She would need to talk to Seiji when she returned, surely he must know SOMETHING about all this right? She hoped so anyway. Aaaannndd there was ANOTHER dig from that happy little Anbu agent that would be accompanying them today. Mizuraki gritted her teeth and stifled her laughter. “Yes, Yes...Of course.” The Senju was doing her best to stifle her anger behind her jovial mask but it was crumbling bit by bit. “And how about I-” she was about to say something to that uptight bastard before Ichika abruptly approached him. She wondered just what that was about. Either way...Nevermind him! They had a job to do. “Alright. Form up, Squadron.” There was now a fire in her eyes that wasn’t present before. “Bakuto and Hiro. I want you both side by side. Hiro do your best to move around the battlefield and provide support. Bakuto’s arm will be useful for Taijutsu encounters and the versatility will make opening that Hiro can easily exploit.” Now focusing her attention to Remi she nodded to him. “I want you to hang back and assess the situation before deciding what weapon to join the battle with. If you see an opportunity to distract with your clone technique and draw some attention off of Bakuto or Hiro if they get bogged down, do so. You’re all here to support each other this isn’t about glory, this isn’t about impressing anyone. This is about teamwork and coming home alive. Do I make myself clear!?” It was evident that she was now focused on the mission at hand given her demeanor change. Well that and the fact that Anbu had a special talent for pissing the Senju woman RIGHT off. “We’re ready.” [/cell][/row]
