They kept coming, more of Moro's goons rushing to stop her from getting to the Kai. She would not let them kill the Kai, she would not let them stop her. She let out a soft growl as Mia latched onto her, she didn't bother looking back or try to struggle to get Mia off, at least at first.

Eve instead sped up, taking Mia along for the ride before beginning to spin herself rapidly in an attempt to through Mia off her, still on target for her headbutt against Maize. More words were spoken, she refused to listen to the henchmen's taunts, not that she could clearly hear them anyway, her mind filled with fury.
