Good morning, everyone! Today I'm gonna get some lore in, pop some more details up, and generally work on general things
This certainly has my interest. Out of curiosity how would you be posting the IC stuff? I mean, would you copy our posts into the IC thread or do your own editing or something?
The only thing going into the IC thread will be those rumor things I mentioned/big news. Things like wars, battles, stuff that would affect a large amount of people. In order to properly maintain secrecy, there's not going to be any way for others to read your writing, which is a shame. I wish we could all perfectly divorce ourselves from what we read, but that just isn't possible ;-;. HOWEVER HOWEVER HOWEVER after someone completes their arc, they'll be allowed to talk about the general details. In the end, in order to make this style of RP work, some sacrifices have to be made. In my case, I opted to sacrifice the group discussion element of RP in order to gain (what i think) is a whole lot. When you're writing in secrecy, there's very little post quality pressure. The only person who will ever see the actual combination of words you put on a page will be me! And personally, idgaf about the quality so long as you're havin' fun. I'm chill with 1-sentence responses, even outside of dialogue. That just means more "interactions" per post! (I can explain more about this if it's confusing.) Also, this whole secrecy thing means that you get an excellent chance to just do what YOU want. No expectations from others (save for me), no need for your sheet to look all super clean and beautiful, [s]no need to bend to the whims of those stupid OTHER RPers when obviously your character is the most interesting and cool of them all.[/s] It's a focused experience that hopefully will never leave you with a "why is my character even here" moment, unlike group RP.
