On the other side of the door was a tall, black-haired man with a briefcase in his hand. He only briefly looked at Duncan as he stepped forward. "Mike is here," he stated. It wasn't a question and he didn't wait for an invitation to come inside. "And he asked me to come." He walked passed Duncan and went straight to the living room. Benjamin took the notebook and nodded. "We'll do our best," he promised and he looked up when he heard footsteps. "You're fast." "I was still in town," Mitch replied, his eyes settling on Freya. "The one who is injured?" he asked as he walked to her. "There is no hospital in the area that you can trust for delicate situations like this, but I can patch her up enough to keep her alive for now." He nodded with his head and Benjamin moved aside so Mitch could inspect the wound. "We want to break into a guarded place filled with armed agents to rescue Steph, Gaia, and Freya's son," Mike said. "You'll die if you attempt that alone," Mitch stated as he opened the briefcase and got some stitching material from it. "Freya, I won't remove the bullet because that will cause too much bleeding. I will just close the wound and then you can find a place for a proper surgery to remove it. Are you allergic to local anaesthesia?" [hr] Rudrig received the message and let out a sigh in relief. Maybe Rose had changed, but she was still Rose and he didn't want her to die. He left the building with a backpack on his back and walked to a motorcycle. The orders were to abandon the base, he wasn't sure why Mr Johnson had given the order, but he must have evidence the safety of the location was compromised. Stuart likewise packed his things. He was external and hadn't come with much, so he decided to help the agents who were putting the materials in the library in boxes. There was no code red, so the evacuation wasn't high priority. Agents Morrison and Barrow stocked up on what they needed for the night; they had their few personal belongings already and only needed a base to provide them with weapons. Ethan was with them, likewise preparing for a night of hunting. "Those beasts were taken away," Barrow told the others. "They're taking them to that place where we dropped off several vampires to test weapons on." Morrison nodded; he knew where that was. Ethan didn't and he asked. "We'll take you there once," Morrison promised. "Tonight we kill; we take no prisoners. There have been too many deaths in this city and we'll let them know we won't allow that." [hr] Lily almost squealed in delight when she heard the spider-girl was on her way and she waited in the drop-off zone with the agent who had delivered the first two beasts. The agent glared at the jab that he had lost her and hadn't successfully delivered her. "Aren't you beautiful," Lily cooed as she eyed Rose. "We'll have so much fun." She gestured to some agents to pick her up. "Be careful with her," she told them as the agents grabbed her and pulled her to the cage that was waiting for her.
