A kick came and woke Mags from her embarrassment. It had appeared that the oni had fled for a reason. Other immortals. No native NPC would dare look how they did. Fair enough that they did run away, though. Had the oni been a group of simple warriors, they may have stood and fought. But there were children, too. They were tiny piles of EXP to sociopaths--Mags would know--but things to be protected by oni parents. Probably.

But god damn was that party cool. They looked much better than the duo's leveling/newbie sets.
