The deity pursuing this shy woman knew that she lived in an apartment building. He would retreat for now, weary at her being so small acting. So, he left the form and receded into his mind to try and figure it out. 

Inside of his astral mind he went over things. She did not like confectionery. She wasn't fond of nice, playful dogs. She stayed busy, and walked a mile everyday. So, what she did like was reading and obviously Emily was host to some type of personality problem; that was an assumption, so maybe not. Klog decided to go with what appeared to enlighten her. He begin to write a book.

He'd make it 500 pages. It was about a woman living life the way society instilled in her to do, but eventually escapes when she makes a deal with the devil and goes wild and ends when she's locked away in prison for armed robbery

Klog used every memory he knew she developed since she was in high school. Every pzge revolved around everything she ever knew, and how those things would have affected her. But in the book he spent ten minutes creating was a warning that when inside the realms of gods most of them would have their wives beheaded and their sons locked away for eternity if they exactly judged it was appropriate. He used time to travel the book upon her bed.

It was expertly written. The title was A Deal With An Odd Devil.
